Enjoy one of the Caribbean's most beautiful beaches just 200 steps from our front door. White sandy beach graced by seagrape trees. Spectacular panorama of islands. Crystal clear water. Our spacious deluxe one-bedroom apartment is clean and brightly furnished in Caribbean style for island living.

Crystal Cove is a low-density, idyllic beachfront condo complex. Our unit, D-5, is continually updated as needed. We come several times a year to make sure it is well maintained for our guests, many who return year after year.

... Located on St. Thomas' desirable East End, we are a mile from the village of Red Hook with its shops and ferry terminal. Choose dining in or out. Many popular restaurants and a complete grocery market are nearby, within a 10-minute drive. From the Red Hook ferry terminal, you can take day excursions to St. John and the British Virgin Islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Or have dinner and watch the sunset from St. John. Then take the 20-minute ferry back.

Charlotte Amalie, with its shop-after-shop of duty-free delights, historic buildings and spectacular views, is just 20 minutes away depending on traffic.

From our beach is a spectacular panorama of Caribbean islands from Jost van Dyke to Tortola to St. John. Crystal clear water.

SPACIOUS UPDATED FIRST FLOOR APARTMENT: Our first-floor apartment at Crystal Cove (also known as Sapphire Bay West--not the Sapphire Resort) directly on Sapphire Beach is almost 1000 square feet. There is a king-size bed in the bedroom; two XL side-by-side twin Murphy beds in the living room can be converted to a king. Included are two full bathrooms, one with glass-block shower and one with tub. The kitchen is fully-equipped with colorful dishes, small appliances, everything you will want. Spacious dining table. Central air conditioning. Ceiling fans. Washer/dryer in the apartment. All linens and beach towels provided. Housekeeping service. Local manager on premises.

CONVENIENT TO EVERYTHING: Restaurants, shopping, water sports, golf, spa and more.

ACTIVITIES GALORE: Beach attendant. Complimentary chaise lounges and beach chairs for guests. Dive shop right next door as well as a marina for booking water sports, sport fishing, ski jets, parasailing and more.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS: Crystal Cove is a private, gated community with on-premise security. Parking is just outside the back door. If you don't want to rent a car, taxis are also easily called, and the local $2 safari-style bus that circles the island stops at the end of the driveway.

CONTINUOUS UPDATING: We personally check on our condo several times a year and consequently make sure everything is as it should be, in good condition and working order, and we regularly replace any items that have seen better days.

  It does not get much better than this. We loved D5. This condo has comfortable beds, plenty of towels, a well equipped kitchen, feels fresh and clean and it has Norma the on site manager who has a wealth of knowledge and does a great job looking after you! The beach is close enough to run back to the condo for lunch or a break from the sun. The beach is truly one of the best! The water is crystal clear, warm and calm. It's so great to not have to worry about rip tides and big waves. There is lots of snorkelling right off the beach with turtles, sting rays and lots of fish. You can also rent paddle boards which kept my kids very entertained. This was a great spring break, family holiday! Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise!

  This trip was a birthday present for my wonderful wife so I wanted it to be special; and it was. Just spent a week in D 5, it was great. The apartment is very nice and well kept. The view of the beach and the flowers in front of the unit are spectacular; really sets the tone and lets you know you are on an island paradise. The beach was really nice and the weather could not have been better. Nancy goes way out of her way to make sure everything is perfect for your stay, and the on-site manager Norma takes care of the rest. I highly recommend this unit, and ask for Gordon if you want to see the island. He will take really good care of you. Almost forgot, my wife had a wonderful birthday. I just don't know how I can top this trip next year.

  D5 is the best

  We wanted a Caribbean get-away with our nearly 2-year old daughter and knew that a condo would be our best bet so that we could relax in the evenings while she slept in the bedroom. We were so lucky to have found Crystal Cove and unit D5. It was so clean, newly renovated, and had all the amenities you could want and an absolutely beautiful beach only a few steps away. We were pleasantly surprised by the availability of food and drinks on the beach with waiters walking around taking orders! Beautiful scenery and great snorkeling. We have snorkeled in many places and love to just jump in right off the beach. Saw lots of rays, turtles and fish of course. We rented a car from the airport and it was an easy, short drive from Charlotte amalie - and less than 5 minutes to Red Hook for grocery shopping and restaurants. In all, a gorgeous place that we can't wait to go back to. Perfect place for kids to run around. Babysitters are available!

  D5 is the nicest unit at Crystal Cove

  My family has been staying at Crystal Cove for 20 years and we have stayed in many different units. D5 is always our favorite. Clean,beautifully decorated, and the owners are wonderful. We can't wait to get back this Winter. This unit is a winner. Grab it!
