This apartment-syle rental was perfect for us. It has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, a bath with a good shower, cozy living and dining room, comfortable bed - all tastefully decorated. Although most of your activities will require you to drive somewhere, it is nice that you can walk to a market, a couple of restaurants, an ice cream shop, and a couple of other shops. The location is very handy, yet private. At the end of a day of riding bikes, visiting one of the towns on the Cape, or going to the beach, we felt right at home when we came back to the apartment. You have to climb steps to reach the rental, so I don't recommend it to anyone who has significant physical problems. The sofa bed could accommodate a child or two, although I think the rental is better for just two people. The sleeping loft does not have a door to close it off from the rest of the apartment. The low ceiling of the loft made it a bit uncomfortable for my husband because he had to be sure to duck when he reached the top of the steps. In spite of this, we enjoyed the rental and recommend it as long as you understand these limitations.

Check-in to this property could not have been easier and it was exactly what we were hoping for. It's perfect for two people, although a family with 1-2 young children could stay here comfortably. The rental is equipped with everything you need (except bedding, towels and beach chairs) and is very nicely decorated. It is clean and has a nice floor plan. It would not be a good choice for anyone who has trouble climbing steps because the apartment access is up a flight of steps and inside there are three levels. Be aware that the ceiling in the sleeping loft is low -you need to bend over if you are over about 5'6" or you will hit your head on the wooden beams. This should not hold you back from renting this lovely property. The location is ideal - close to Orleans and Nauset Beach. You can walk to a few restaurants, shops and a small market, but need to drive most places, including the town and the beach. Overall we found it just perfect for our needs.

Dawn was awesome to deal with as was Old Cape Sothebys. The experience was good overall. The property was acceptable except for the air conditioning. The highs were only in the upper 80's the entire time were there but we were miserable when we were trying to sleep or get ready for our day out. The only a/c was window unit that was not even close to enough to keep the place bearable. We would have to put our makeup on in our rental car to keep it from melting off! Otherwise, the steps were extremely steep for hauling luggage -groceries up. But we enjoyed our stay non the less.
