We stayed at Captain Greaves for the first time this year. The house was spacious, very well appointed. The family room has a large sectional where the whole family could be together. patio off the family room and kitchen was very nice, with an awning to protect us from rain.The only downside I can say, was that there was on occasional odor outside, that may have been due to poor drainage since there was puddling by the patio. The beach was a very short walk from the house. There was an air conditioner in the master bedroom, but not really needed due to many fans in the house as well.

This rental property is a gem. It's location is really close to the private beach and not far from bridge jumping and a fresh water pond. The home is very clean with a great living space and a convenient outdoor dining area. There are flat screen Tv's, a washer dryer, dishwasher, etc. We've rented this beach house for the last 3 years and it 's consistently well appointed and comfortable.
I give it high marks and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an old fashion vacation experience with modern amenities. -

Wonderful vacation spot! Owner provided all we needed to have a great 2 week vacation...beach chairs, board games, fire pit, etc. Home was very clean...modern appliances and such a comfortable kitchen to gather and enjoy our family and friends. L-shaped couch is very comfortable...I ended up falling asleep on it a few nights! Beach is beautiful for walks...sandbar is great for little ones...my favorite part is the jogging / walking trail to Scorton Creek...breathtaking views of nature at its best. There are many restaurants in the area and Sandwich is a short drive from most anywhere we wanted to visit on Cape Cod. We will be coming again.

We have enjoyed all of our stays at this home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to a private beach. You can walk the beach for hours if you wish! There is also a great river nearby, Scorton Creek, for kayaking or "riding the tide." Every year the tide pools are different on the beach, and the sand bars are great for kids. The home is set on a private corner lot. The kitchen and patio are great for family dinners, and the outside shower is a definite plus when you return from the beach! Great beach community.
