Great sunsets and huge sand bars at low tide. The best times to look for shells and fossils are on an outgoing tide, during a new or full moon, and after a storm. 173B North Shore Boulevard is a little slice of heaven! This cottage is in a great location - on the beach - and also close to town, Routes 6 and 6a, and shopping. The views from three sides of the cottage are phenominal. The cottage is very spacious, clean and absolutely adorable. The cottage had many comforts of home including air conditioning, wireless internet and a stackable washer/dryer. The side deck is spacious for storing kayaks or chairs. The outdoor shower is key for rinsing off salt and sand before heading inside. This cottage feels like our home away from home. We can't wait to go back next year!!!

Our stay at this quaint and lovely location, was just what a beachfront vacation should be. The sunsets were incredilble and the fires on the beach at night were so relaxing, with thousands of stars all around. It was quiet and really not to far from anything you would want to do.

The cottage was very cute, the bed in master bedroom will soon need to be changed.
Access to the beach was great although some neighbours on our first day were not too welcoming even if all we were doing was sitting down and reading on beach! It was unpleasant to the point that we did not go back on our front beach rest of the week. -

Lovely beach cabin that is well equipped and literally 30 seconds walk to the
beach! Views are great and the neighborhood is very quiet. The beach is also
not crowded even at peak times and is good for beach fires at night. There is a
convenience store about a mile up the road that has the basics and
supermarket and cinema 10-15 minutes drive away.
All in all, a very peaceful and relaxing stay with plenty of good eating houses
and activities to entertain all ages. -

Staying at this location has been one of the greatest things we have done for ourselves. So restful, and relaxing -Watching the water. Town of Sandwich so convienient for all your needs.
This cottage is so clean and comfortable. The owner is very accomodating to make sure your stay is at it's best. -

We have been going to Cape Cod for 5 years, but have only stayed at this cabin for the past two and I can honestly say that the past two years have been the best vacation. This cabin is so comfortable, even for our family of 5. 2 TV's with cable, internet access, air conditioning, outdoor grill, and one of the best features is the washer/dryer. (spoken like a true mom) This is the second cabin in a row of three and still have great veiws of the bay with only a teeny tiny short walk to the beach. This cabin is clean and updated. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of spending their vacation on Cape Cod.

Great for relaxing

We spent an awesome week in E. Sandwich Beach. We had never rented a house for a vacation before so I wasn't sure what to expect. When we arrived the place was clean and had everything we needed in regards to supplies in the kitchen. It was expecially nice that we could do laundry!
The outside shower was nice to have and the deck was a great place for my 7 year old to play before dinner. My husbands favorite part of the house, the a/c unit.
We loved! loved! loved! the beach! Being a native Floridian I have actually always hated the beach. But there was something special about Cape Cod. We will come back for sure!
A little note, sweep up after the kids eat! We had a slight problem with ants which as soon as I realized it I swept often and there was no problem.Response from Sand Dollar Realty - 08/04/2008

Thanks for the review, tenants will find that because of all the sand around the beach properties, it is a perfect atmosphere for ants. Add in food on the floor and they will make it into the house to find it. As you found out, no problems if the floors are kept food free. The breeze off the water keeps it cooler than it is inland and most properties don't have A/C, but it is nice when you need it. -

This home is very small, but since I have stayed here before I stayed again. Love the beach, but the house needs a little help. The bathroom leaked alot and the ammenities that were listed were not all there, including a phone to make local calls and fans, which you absolutly need.
You need to check in with the reality company by phone and one is not provided. How does one check in or order a pizza?
I will admit it was very clean and the kitchen had all of the needed things, but the 2nd bedroom is VERy small with the bunks.Response from Sand Dollar Realty - 07/24/2008

Sorry you didn't have a phone Mindi. Due to the fact that there are usually 2 or more guests staying at a property that bring a cell phone, most owners have done away with the expense of providing a landline. A phone is not on the ammentities list. We can arrange to stop by the property and check that you made it safely if you book a property that does not have a phone and you don't want to use your cell. I have also notified the owner of your missing ammentities complaint they will check to see if anything listed is not there and correct it. Additionally the home has A/C, but it is also supposed to have a fan which will be addressed if missing. We do have larger cottages available if you feel this one is too small to keep coming back to. Had a great week at this clean and comfortable cottage with a good view of beach from deck. Really appreciated having the AC, as beginning of week was very hot! Having high-speed internet access was a real plus.
