Very beachy as you drive up to this cottage. No homes across from it, only the gorgeous everchanging salt marsh. Wooden boardwalk on the side of the cottage that leads up to the dune top waterfront deck. Enclosed hot and cold water shower with easy access. Heating for the spring & fall & A/C for the summer.

We've been coming to the Cape for many years, and this is by far our favorite place. We've been to fancy hotels, Caribbean resorts, etc., but there's something about the simple New England charm of this cottage that we love. Of course, the location- with the marsh behind you and the ocean in front- is about as perfect as you can find. The privacy on the beach, the peace and quiet, and the unending beauty of the views are nearly impossible to find elsewhere.
I don't even care that it's not air conditioned, but my wife does! That's the one thing they could do to improve it. Otherwise, it's heaven on earth. -

A very special spot on the beach, with views of the tidal salt marsh as well as the bay...sunrises and sunsets at a wonderful and quiet location, in a very comfortable and charming cottage with beautiful new kitchen and cathedral ceiling living room, many large windows and an extra wide space with no house on one side, enhancing the view.

The beachhouse was very basic-lacking even a dishwasher and/or washer and dryer. Also, it was very cluttered. The owner obviously stores a lot of her stuff there so as a result there isn't much storage for bags, etc. For what you get, it seems slightly overpriced. As well, the marsh in the back gets quite brackish at times and the rental company should let people know this. The smell was so bad one night that we ended up c alling the septic company because we thought there was a problem.

It was up to me to find "the house" this year, and the guys loved it. Awesome deck, kitchen, location, 5 beds, 3 bedrooms, clean bath. All in all, probably too nice for a bunch like us. Made for a great week !!
