The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. The bathroom was just updated and very clean. Bedrooms were small, but who cares, we only slept there.Furniture in living room was not the most comfortable but I guess it served the purpose. Kitchen was small but doable. I think it might be a bit crowded with three or more people but it is cape cod.

This rental had lots of nice amenities (great washer and dryer) but no Dishwasher which would be nice as we ate at home a lot. Main detraction for me was the main bedroom had no cross breeze; no smell of ocean, no sound of surf. However it did have a new window air conditioner (that was needed daily) because that was the only window. Very comfortable bed and roomier than many other units we saw online. For just 2 of us, we will stay at a resort and not carry all the house stuff with us. Sand Dollar Realty was excellent in all ways, and we love the town of Sandwich and shops and restaurants available.

The bathroom in unit 1 definitely needs some work, in particular the floor should be replaced
We rented all three units together for a family reunion and didn't have enough trash space in the trash bin and there was already trash in the bin when we arrived
Everything else was great! We loved that we could just walk out our door and be on the beach

Manager
The owners are always doing something to improve these cottages, so I am sure an upgrade on the bathroom is not far off. This year the cottage was freshly painted and the floor in the living room was replaced last year. The trash bin Patty is referring to is the roadside dumpter that gets picked up 2 times a week. Since the pick up days do not coincide with the check in days, there is always some in there. If you have a reunion and party, please let us know that you will be making a lot more trash than normal and we will get it picked up earlier than scheduled. See you next year.
