A Beachland cottage with a roomy feel. Sits directly on the marsh and the largest of all of the Beachland cottages with a slider in the living area that leads to a great deck overlooking the tidal marsh and Scorton Creek. Updated kitchen and bath and always clean and bright. Sleeping is in the living area on trundle beds that can become 2 twins or a king if placed together and additional sleeping off the kitchen on a daybed. Suitable for a couple or small family. Our family vacationed on the Cape and in Boston. The location was perfect to keep our daily travel at a minimum. The cottage was much more spacious than we had expected, and far more charming. The backyard overlooks the salt marsh - beautiful, and the beach is just a very short walk and across the road. One could spend most of their time just hanging out here and in Sandwich. Make sure if you come to check out the Farmers Market in Sandwich on Tuesday. Also the glass museum was very interesting. Joe's Seafood mart will cook your lobster for you to enjoy at the cottage - we splurged twice. Also, if you want to see whales be sure to go to the Head of the Meadow beach just south of Provincetown. The whale tours take you to the same location, and with a pair of binoculars we saw more whale breaching action than our boat tour - don't miss it! The cottage's only drawback was a bit of an ant problem, but that is probably just a part of life at the beach. I highly recommend this rental!

Enjoyed our stay. Nice to have wifi & a few essentials ( salt, pepper, dish soap) . We loved the privacy of the back porch and the marsh view. 2 concerns for consideration: We could not park in the driveway without getting stuck, Not fun on the Saturday we checked in, with beach traffic parked in front we were down the road, dragging our suitcases to the cottage. ( Maybe invest in some crushed shells for the driveway!) Also, the trundle beds were not very comfortable for us. They did not line up evenly, so our sleeping arrangement wound up being more like a camp out.

The only thing that was a downer was the rain..otherwise everything else was fantastic. And because of the rain, the owners generously let us stay longer. The cottage was adorable and very well stocked. The views were excellent and the location couldn't have been better. We will definitely be back sometime.

The staff at Sand dollar where friendly, professional and helpful. The Cottage was clean and charming in a great location. We made plans to travel around Cape Cod on our week long vacation but instead we just stayed around the cottage in East Sandwich. Everyday we walked out our back door and down the trail to the beach and every night we made a bon fire on the beach while we fished. We plan to go back next summer.
