A typical, traditional stone-built Cornish cottage, this charming property has plenty of original features and offers comfortable accommodation for up to four people. Situated close to the small village of East Taphouse and just nine miles from the larger town of Looe is this charming, end terrace cottage. Set on one storey, this property has been tastefully furnished featuring a charming sitting room with Cornish stone fireplace and multi fuel stove, as well as French windows leading to a small patio with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the impressive Bodmin Moor. As one of four cottages set into an acre of ground, this pr...operty enjoys large lawned gardens overlooking the meadows and paddock beyond – ideal for summer picnics or winter walks. The property is excellently placed for access to the region's attractions, and all local amenities.

Town: Located on the A390 in the heart of the pretty Cornish countryside is the small village of East Taphouse. Ideally situated for exploring Devon and Cornwall, this pretty little settlement is within easy reach of the market towns of Liskeard and Lostwithiel, as well as the old fishing ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey. The region is also home to a great number of excellent beaches and coves, whilst the rugged moor at Bodmin is only 10 minutes drive to the north. The magnificent tropical biodomes of the Eden Project are well worth visiting as are the National Trust properties of Lanhydrock and Mount Edgecombe houses. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  This was an ideal location for getting to see other parts of devon & cornwall ,also the cottage and grounds were excellent,my wife and I (and SaM our dog ) loved it,and yes we would go back.

  The holiday with a family member was for the purpose of rest, quiet & recharge batteries, which was certainally able to do in the beautiful cottage & gaden, horse paddocks, fields & great wildlife! The family member has terminal cancer, so it was perfect for us to relax. Very friendly owner & the cottage was perfect.
