This newer home features an oversize family room; a 60 foot private deck with southern exposure; well equipped eat-in kitchen; separate dining room; HDTV room; first floor laundry; air-conditioned master bedroom with en suite bath and sitting area; natural landscaping, including a cutting garden.

The first floor has one bedroom with 2 twin beds, a queen sofa bed in the family room and a bath/laundry room. There are 3 bedrooms on the second level: the air-conditioned master bedroom with a queen size bed and en suite full bath, plus 2 other bedrooms--each with a full ('double') size bed-- sharing a bath. The 'good morning' staircase to t...he second level divides at a midway landing, separating the master bedroom from the other 2 bedrooms. All rooms have either an air conditioner, ceiling fan, or pedestal fan. There is wireless cable internet, 6 telephones with free US and Canada long distance, a fax and a digital telephone answering device.

Very close by are the 25 mile bike path (rail trail); a modern fully equipped sports center with indoor pool and tennis; 8 outdoor public tennis courts; Nauset Light, Coast Guard, and Marconi ocean beaches, all within the Cape Cod National Seashore; shops of all types, including bike rental; restaurants; Salt Pond and the National Seashore visitors' center.

There are 2 bedrooms in a separate wing on the second floor, each with one double bed; they share a bath and a landing large enough for a crib; one has a telephone and a cable outlet; like all other rooms there are excellent reading lights, radio/alarms, and walk-in closets. The air-conditioned master bedroom in a separate wing on the second floor has a queen bed, an en-suite full bath, a seating area, a cordless telephone, and a desk with a lovely view of the front garden replete with lavender, hydrangeas, fairy and sea foam roses, low bush blueberries, vinca, and the comings and goings of nesting birds. A bedroom on the ground floor with two single beds (easily combined to a double bed) has a telephone/fax and a large desk. There's a queen sofa bed in the great room next to the ground floor bath; it's spacious and private--practically as special as the master bedroom--with a telephone and stereo. Every telephone offers free US and Canada long distance.

The house is spacious enough for 10, however the town of Eastham limits occupancy to 8 for every 4 bedroom house regardless of square footage and floor plan due to septic system requirements; use your judgment here in regard to infants and toddlers. Beds: 1 queen, 2 doubles, 2 twins (in the ground floor bedroom), 1 queen sleep sofa. Walk in closets in all bedrooms but one (it's there, but used as owner storage). There are desks in the MBR and one of the other second floor bedrooms, and in the ground floor bedroom. Fax; telephone answering device; wireless internet; telephones in the kitchen, great room (portable), first level bedroom, master bedroom (portable), one second level bedroom. The property is in north Eastham on the ocean side, near the 25 mile bike path ("rail trail"), Nauset Light beach, Coast Guard beach, and the Cape Cod National Sea Shore visitor center. Within walking distance are shops, restaurants, health clubs, and a golf driving range.

  My wife and I have had the pleasure of renting this beautiful home 4 times and we can't wait to return again. To begin with, the house is located on a quiet Cul-de-Sac with very little traffic and is a very peaceful place to enjoy a Cape Cod vacation. The house is set up perfectly for a family with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. There is a very nice family room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen, TV room, and a washer and dryer. There is also an elevated deck that spans the entire length of the back of the house and is great for a nice outdoor breakfast, grilling outside in the evenings, or to just relax and read a book.
  The house is always clean and ready to enjoy and the owners are most gracious hosts.
  Nauset Light Beach is only a three minute drive and offers a wonderful place to walk in the morning or to sun in the afternoon. Other area beaches such as Marconi Beach on the National Seashore are only minutes away. If you bring your bicycles along on vacation, there is a wonderful bike path that goes through the Cape. Access to this path is only a mile or two away from the house.
  We usually do our grocery shopping in Orleans which is only about 10 minutes away; however, there are several wonderful markets only a few miles from the house that offer most items that you may need. Seafood is a must during your stay on the cape and some of the best fried clams and scallops on Cape Cod can be found just up the road from the house!
  All in all, this is an absolutely beautiful house that is clean and inviting, and is conveniently located to many of the areas that you come to Cape Cod to enjoy. If you are considering a Cape Cod vacation, this is the house to rent.

  Great House & Location! Having rented many vacation homes, this one by far is the best. This was our 3rd year here and it didn't disaapoint! The house is pristine, spacious, complete with every amenity, very close to Coast Guard & Lighthouse Beach (great surfing) which we loved and located in a quiet, idyllic setting that is very conveniently situated & accessible.
