Beautiful 2 bedroom appartment decorated in the cape cod style with lovely views of the marina, turquoise sea and mountains of Mahe. Fully fitted kitchen with miele appliances, gas barbeque on the patio and sleeper couch in the lounge. The 2 bedrooms (both have magnificent views) each have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning plus ceiling fans in all rooms including on the patio. Large LCD t.v. with satelite connection and dvd. The Seychelles is a tropical Island paradise with magnificent beaches and turquoise sea with safe swimming, Eden Island, connected to the main island of Mahe by a causeway is a beautiful marina resort with so much available for a relaxing holiday. The snorkelling is excellent with coral reefs close to the beaches. Boat trips can also be arranged from the Marina to nearby islands. Walks in the mountains of Mahe can also be arranged. A moonlight dip in the colourful rimflow pool is highly recommended!
We also have a one-bedroomed apartment with sofa-bed in the lounge (suitable for couples or smaller families). It is on the ground floor with lovely view across the marina towards St Anne Island. two kayaks are included as well as free wifi.

Discounted rate of $230 per night for stays of 10 nights or longer. Peak season - December 15th to January 15th, rates are $295, and April 2013 rates are $250 per night, for the unit (sleeps 6) Daily servicing is optional, at a rate of $18 per day extra (Mon - Fri). Once weekly cleaning included for stays longer than one week.
Rates for Jan - April 2013, and May - 15th Dec 2013 are $250, with discounted rate of $230 for stays of 10 nights or longer.

We had the most marvellous stay at Marilyn's beautiful well equipped apartment. We instantly felt at home which was wonderful after a long flight. The apartment is immaculately clean,with exceptionally large comfortable beds and enormous powerful showers .The views from the rooms are sensational, the furnishings tasteful and include an array of Marilyn's own lovely paintings of the island. We felt honoured to share her gorgeous home. Marilyn was easy to contact,honest with payments and quickly responded to all my queries.
Eden island still has some building work going on but this apartment is situated well away from construction noise and being on its own on the top floor it is peaceful and private.It was great to use the golf buggy and canoes (provided free of charge) to get around the island.With 2 young children the lack of traffic was a bonus, as were the 2 shared pools
Mahé alone has 68 stunning beaches which are mostly deserted. We couldn't have afforded a package holiday to the Seychelles but renting form Marilyn meant this was not only possible but preferable to staying in a hotel. Already hoping to return in 2015! -

This apartment on Eden Island was a real find. My husband and I stayed there last week with our three children, ages 10, 8 and 5 years. The apartment is a comfortable 2 bedroom place with all the amenities you could possibly need to make this a home away from home - but one with stunning views from each window. Very well maintained. We opted for alternate day cleaning which was priced reasonably. Marilyn is the perfect host - she can be reached easily via email and helped us out long distance to trouble shoot minor issues, gave us an excellent itinerary that was our most reliable guide, and all in all did everything and more to make sure we had a comfortable stay.
The club car was one of the big highlights for our children, and made getting around the island so easy with the big bonus of peace and quiet all around at all times. The deli supplies all essentials needed for an extended stay, and even though we did not use the gym and pools, they appear well maintained. We spent an afternoon at anse Bernitier which is a great beach. The VMa office was always helpful.
The car park is more of a construction site than anything else, with some additional sections of the island and a hotel + shopping complex under construction. However, this does not in any way affect you as soon as you leave the car park behind and enter the residential part of the island, which is really peaceful. Absolue Spa is definitely worth a visit!
Eden Island is well located, close to the airport and town. Mahe is not a big island, but I would recommend getting a car. The beaches are stunning, the water temperature just perfect, and the people very friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to go back and I wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else. We don't like the insularity that often comes with staying in a resort, but like our comforts, and this provided the perfect balance.

great appartement, the advice of the owner is sooo helpfull, she gived names of restaurants, what to visit ...
the furniture sooo beatifull , the kitchen ; all worked very good, big and good showers , beachtoys for the kids so leave yours home !
3 beaches on the site where most of the time we were alone ! so quiet !
the gardens on Eden island ; so well kept !
2 pools , wich was fun for the kids after a day in the salt sea ...playing football also possible , playground for the youngest , and a gym for working away the extra pounds ...
A good deli on site and the golf buggy ; a real joy for our sons !

We booked the apartment at the last minute and Marilyn was very helpful in assiting us to get everything sorted. We highly recommend this apartment for a young family as it has everything you need and its a great base to explore the rest of the island.

The apartment was extremely beautiful and comfortable. Spacious and well decorated. It was like home away from home. Eden Island is a magnificient development with a number of acivities available to enjoy. I would definately recommend this destination for a relaxing, quiet and comfortable vacation.

Came to Seychelles for our son's 7th birthday. Eden Island proved a fantastic base to explore Mahe and surrounding islands. We liaised directly with the property owner (Marilyn) from the get go, which proved extremely useful when security couldn't find the golf cart on check-in and the aC was also on the blink. Marilyn also provided a great itinerary and local contacts in case of trouble. Highly recommended.

We have spent a week in magical Eden Island complex on Seychelles at the end of September.
The flat is very spacious, well equipped and luxurious. Everything, including the gas braai on the terrace, to the smalls in the kitchen has been brought from South africa. The position is magnificent, all around you is a marina with turquoise water so you can sit there all they long and enjoy.
You get a golf cart for transport within a complex, but i think that the car rental is essential for Mahe. Anyway, the owner recommended car rental company and the prices we got from this company were excellent - no need to look for other rentals, trust me, you are going to waste your time.
There is a small shop in the complex but if you want truly self catering holiday, you will have to shop around, because there isn't a single shop in Seychelles that will have anything you require. But everything is short drive away and highly accessible.
There is a pool very close to the flat which was added benefit. The beaches on Eden Island are not the best, only one is so-so, and there are still works going on. As for the peace and quiet, while there were building works going on on the island, they are not affecting you while having a holiday there.
Looking at the hotels at the Seychelles and their more and more sorry state, i think that the Eden Island accommodation is the best one can get on the island at the moment. I wouldn't even compare it to hotel accommodation, it is so much better. The owner, Marylin Burger was also very helpful, gave us tips and hints and she made our stay there even better than we hoped. the whole Seychelles experience was more than beach and accommodation, it was like going back in time, 30 years and more, and feeling good about it.
As a tip, i suggest everybody to go to the local cinema in Victoria and watch a movie - still shown from the old celluloid tapes, with the old projector that has to be cooled in the middle of the movie - hence intermission. YResponse from Marilyn Burger - 11/08/2010

We stayed at 23 Citronelle Eden Island for a week during June and were suprised how good the weather was in the Seychelles for that time of the year . The days were mild to hot without the humidity that you experience in the Summer months.
The Eden Island development is truely unique and beautiful in design and layout .The villas and apartments are all individual in design but blend in perfectly and have an almost asian or Bali feel to it.Although they are still building on the Island it had no effect whatsoever on our stay . The apartment 23 Citronelle is beautiffully presented well equipped with the best of modern appliances and very comfortable .The blue and white decor compliments the view from the living room and master bedroom which look out over the yacht basin and the Indian Ocean . The second bedroom looks out over the mountains at the back and the view is just as magnificent . We will visit Eden Island again. You have everthything there -luxury , beauty comfort and good food at one of 3 good restaurants on the Eden Island development site . -

A great apartment just a few minutes from the airport. The balcony looks over the Eden Island waterways and out of the marina. It’s a great spot for relaxing BBQs in the evening. Transport on Eden is via EPV’s (ie. golf carts) so the atmosphere is very quiet and tranquil. There are two nice beaches a short walk away with some excellent snorkelling around Eden Island. There is a small shop, a gym and two restaurants handy so there is no need to leave the island if you don’t want to. Eden Island is very well managed and the staff are friendly. I don’t have a single complaint. What an exceptionally relaxing holiday, I can’t recommend it enough.

A great holiday in a well appointed, beautifuly furnished, modern apartment.
It is fun getting around on the private buggy on Eden Island. A trip into town by public bus is easy and a great way to see the local way of life. Views form the apartments' 2 patios are beautiful. Sea access is from the mooring infront of the building, so easy.
This is a holiday well worth a repeat in the same apartment. Great value for money -
