Wonderful, bright home located in Sandy Valley about a block off the Edgartown Vineyard Haven Road, very near a bike path. This contemporary three bedroom home has a King bed, with linens provided on the first floor and then two Queen bedrooms upstairs (No linens) There are two and 1/2 bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower for overflow. Central air conditioning, cable TV, high-speed, wireless internet are just a few of the included amenities. The living room, kitchen and dining area are open and flow nicely for family gaterings. The spacious deck is great for outdoor dining and a screened in porch lend themselves to some great summer relaxation.

First, let me say that the house was very clean, great location and we enjoyed our vacation. The reason I would not return to this house is more of an intangible one. The owners left specific instructions on the counter that we interpreted to be pretty harsh. We can understand that the owners are interested in having tenants that don't harm the property but the letter went a little overboard. The advertisement stated that sheets were included for master bedroom so we didn't order a set from laundry service. However, the instructions at house said that they had to be laundered and bed remade prior to our checkout which meant you had to get up at the crack of dawn to wash sheets to be out on time. It was the tone of the letter more than the actual requirement that was disappointing. The owners were adequately compensated for the rental but the letter made it sound like they were doing us a big favor by renting to us. I think they could have communicated their rules and requirements in a different tone and achieved a better outcome. I would have thought the sheets included with house could have been a component of the cleaning charge upon checkout. We'll be back because we love Martha's Vineyard but not to this house.
