Our beautiful home is over-looking the tip of Katama Bay (Edgartown Harbour) and views of the Atlantic Ocean. We are next to Wasque Reservation on the tip if Chappaquiddick Island. The houses faces south-west for Sunset views on the water. We are 3 1/2 miles from Edgartown.

We have stayed here a number of times. The location is great: just a short walk to the beach. The house is bright, spacious, well maintained and very clean. Even on rainy days, the house is open enough for everyone to have their own area for games, reading, puzzles, etc. And, the views are absolutely spectacular. The owner has been especially pleasurable to deal with.

Bayview is the quintessential vacation hideaway for all those who lust for the sea. If you want to slip away from all of life's stresses with your family, or even find solitude, this is your dream destination. Bayview is magnificently structured with every luxury, so that all you desire is right there for the taking. When you come upstairs for your morning cup of coffee (for me out on the deck) you are greeted with the splendor of the ocean, and you will not want to leave this comfort zone for anything, except perhaps the boutiques of Edgartown. You are drawn into the landscape as if it was your own paradise, and savor every minute dreading the moment you will leave. You can laze around on the deck overlooking the bay, or go clamming. If you bring the necessities of life with you as I do, there is no need to go shopping for the mundane. Just sit in the living room and dream. Because of Bayview on Chappy I can bear the humdrum of winter in anticipation of June.

Great place on secluded Chappy. Near a wildlife refuge, and walking distance to the beach! Fantastic fishing too! Perfect home for a relaxing vacation.
