Quaint cottage, located close to beaches, shopping, restaurants, yet set at the end of a winding dirt road on a large 2/3 acre lot. Bike path and bus at the end of the road can take you to all corners of the island. Walk to the beach (closest 3/10 miles), the historic whaling town of Edgartown and shopping. At the end of a day of beach combing, boating or shopping enjoy grilling while the kids enjoy playing in the yard. House is nestled amongst oak trees with views of the neighbors ponds and nearby golf course. The cottage is located at the end of a dirt road in a quiet neighborhood of homes with very large lots. Area is very safe with bike path located at end of road and the bus easily hailed from there as well. The house is located in the Triangle Area, which affords easy access to all areas of the island.One block away is a pharmacy, pizza shop, donut shop,and a seafood restaurant. Within 2 blocks are several restaurants, bike shop, ice cream shop and grocery. Easy 10 min. Walk to historic Edgartown with shopping, harbor, museum, lighthouse and restaurants. Bend in The Road Beach ( on Nantucket Sound...great family beach!) is 3/10 miles away, while South Beach ( on the Atlantic) is about a half mile away. Glider and biplane rides are nearby. Kayak rental close on state beach.
