Built in 1898, this authentic Maine cottage features spectacular water views, an original wrap-around porch, cool breezes and sunsets that you will be talking about for years. In the same family since 1910, "Somewhere in Time" is full of memorabilia that has been collected for generations. Many of the pieces were originally bought for use in this home! If you are interested in period furniture, antiques and the unique furnishings this cottage has to offer, you will be thrilled and delighted by a week’s stay here.
SO MUCH TO SEE, SO MUCH TO DO!
Like most salt-water tidal rivers, the aquatic life is bou...ntiful along the Sheepscot River. With your own private dock & float you will spend many hours finding out just how beautiful this stretch of water is. Bring your own kayaks, canoes or small sail boat (or rent locally). You will enjoy bird-watching even if that is not your norm! Expect to see egrets, herons, loons, osprey, eagles and more. Also porpoise and otters have been known to frequent the area and a colony of seals spends most of the summer near Fort Edgecomb and the ledges there. Located on the same road as Fort Edgecomb, be sure to explore this fun little piece of local history and check out some more incredible views.
Only minutes from Route 1 and Wiscasset and only 10 minutes down Route 27 to historic Boothbay Harbor Somewhere in Time provides a perfectly located home base for exploring Midcoast Maine. This one of a kind cottage is full of vacation memories just waiting for you to make them happen.

WHY BOOK WITH COTTAGE CONNECTION?
Vacation Rentals. Privately Owned. Professionally Managed. Trusted since 1993.
Cottage Connection was one of the first vacation rental companies in the Mid-coast region of Maine. Jeff and Audrey Miller, who own three vacation rental homes themselves had an aha moment when they realized they could not find anyone who ‘got it’ to manage their rentals for them. Since 1993 they have been trusted by homeowners and vacationers to “connect” each family with the perfect cottage for their vacation. As Audrey puts it; “The home they stay in becomes a personality, a part of their lore, when a family connects with the right cottage. Whether they want a rustic cabin in the woods or a high-end ocean bungalow, the right setting sets the tone for the entire vacation.” Learn more about how Cottage Connection can help make your vacation perfect!
