Luxurious Apartment situated in Edinburgh City Centre. Awarded 4* by the Scottish Tourist Board - 'Visit Scotland'. Situated in one of the best locations for everything you will want to see and do in Edinburgh. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, theatre, cinema, local bus/train services, many tourist attractions etc. are all within minutes walking distance. There is private and secure car parking provided if required.
This wonderful apartment has been awarded 4* by the Scottish Tourist Board - ''Visit Scotland'' and is in pristine condition, maintained to an extremely high standard. There is one double bedroom, and one twin-bedded ...room, lounge / dining room. The bathroom has a bath with shower. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with all the utensils etc you will require, ceramic hob/oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, blender etc.
The apartment is situated in a Georgian Crescent overlooking tree lined gardens which was the original 'Botanic Gardens' in the 1800's. A lovely quiet community yet only a few minutes walk into the city centre.Read more

We stayed at Hopetoun Crescent for a few nights in Jan. The flat was very central which was great. We were able to walk to Princes Street and back with 2 small children. The off the road private parking was good. The flat itself had everything we needed. It was spacious and comfortable. The land lady Liz was very welcoming and made sure we were happy with everthing before she left. Would recommend this flat to friends and family.

A special time in a special city in a special apartment
Second time around staying in one of liz's apartments,nothing changes same warm welcome same excellent standard of accommodation. Stayed in the 2 bedroom Hopetoun apartment as my son came up for a few days from university. Lovely outlook over the park in the morning and the parking for us is a real bonus.The location is superb for us close enough for a busy day and quiet enough for a peaceful relaxing evening after a long day shopping.Lots of good pubs and eateries within easy strolling distance. Get to Crombies for some excellent meats and treats to take home or eat in,visit the Barony for some real ales and a nice warm fire for cold evenings.Been coming to Edinburgh for ten years now at Christmas time and really enjoy the break a nice apartment is the icing on the cake and Hopetoun does not disappoint. Well done Liz ! will be back in 2012

Warm and cosy
We had a lovely stay at Hopetoun cres,ideal size for four guests,plenty room on the cosy sofa and good lighting.Kitchen had everything you needed although would have liked a dishwasher but understand there is no room for one.Easy acsess to shops and Princess St,also good as car parking with apartment.Pet friendly was great for us as Darcy enjoyed her walk in the park directly across.Nice quiet street.We have stayed in Edinburgh many times as we like to come down at christmas from Elgin Scotland.You are always welcomed from lovely friendly people in Edinburgh.Thankyou Liz for our stay.

Gold Nugget in a Diamond City
Liz the Proprietor met us and gave a warm welcome, showed us around the apartment and even better than the pictures, Everything was there, Bedding, Towels, Milk, Tea, Bin Liners, Washing Up Liquid, Tea Towels, Loo Rolls, a bit of fresh fruit and a few biscuits to wash down the tea while watching Digibox TV. The place was so clean as well (Planned I'm sure because you also naturally keep it clean). Car Parking was so easy with the permit she provided. But the real benefit was location, location, location. You can walk to town, shop, and shop, bring it all back and go out again to eat in the nearby restaurants without a taxi or bus required. 30mins walk and we were at the base of the Castle, How cool is that? Superb Place just wish I had a longer stay there. Thanks Liz from all four of us.

Fantastic Veterans Day Weekend in Edinburgh
We had a lovely time at the Hopetoun apartment. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. We enjoyed having the space to relax in the evenings, and the apartment was so comfortable that we felt very rejuvenated each morning. We loved exploring the city of Edinburgh, and this was a perfect spot from which to start off each day. Thank you, Liz, for taking such care in making us feel comfortable and welcome!

Very convenient
The apartment was very convenient for all the sights of Edinburgh and was warm and comfortable. It was a bonus to be able to park the car safely although we did not use it at all during our stay.

Liz has thought of everything, the kitchen was well stocked and the flat was bright and clean. 10 minutes walk into Princess Street, and very near a supermarket and resturants. We would definitely book again.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming and relaxing.
This apartment is really well situated whether in Edinburgh for business or sightseeing. A leafy area that is quiet for a city dwelling and convenient to park up and walk everywhere.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the convenient private car parking was a real bonus.
Liz made a very welcoming host and made sure that we had everything we required. We have a 4 year old and the accommodation was far more enjoyable and relaxing than a hotel.

Home from home but very chic
We stayed for two nights in order to visit Edinburgh University with our son. the appartment was in a great location , very quiet and only a short stroll from the town. We received a very warm welcome and the lovely extra touches were appreciated - milk,water little goodies tray and a lovely vase of flowers in the lounge.

A luxurious and peaceful stay
A beautifully furnished first floor apartment, filled with so many unexpected extras, such as fresh flowers in the lounge and bathroom. It is very well situated, just ten minutes walk from Edinburgh's city centre, making it a great base for exploring the beautiful city and surrounding area.

Elizabeth was the perfect host looking after us going out of her way to store our case as we had arrived very early in the morning.Keeping in touch by phone Liz gave us helpful hints on the surrounds. Apartment was modern clean & welcoming fresh flowers a lovely touch. Park across the road nice out look. Great place to stay in Edinburgh
We stayed at Hopetoun for 3 nights and can recommend it to others as a good place to stay. Location wise, its central and you can walk within 10 minutes to the John Lewis Store (which is the start of the main shopping/tourist area). Apartment very clean and Liz was very helpful and approachable, at the same time did not mither you or anything. I would really recomend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh

Perfect comfort, excellent location, nice amenities.
Liz met us at the door with her little dog, George, after our long flight. She was welcoming, helpful and cosiderate. Every detail in this lovely apartment was perfect. Soaps and lotions, big fluffy towels, biscuits and tea, games, and most important for visitors from the USa, a binder of complete instructions/manuals for the applicances. The location was ideal for us, short walks to excellent food and groceries, convenient access to buses for longer trips to Leith or the castle. Well done, Liz!

Comfortable, convenient - faultless
A conveniently situated apartment which was as comfortable as home. Nice touches include milk/provisions and a personal greeting on arrival. Very clean, modern and pleasant. Car parking and a nice view across a park from the lounge windows. This was the first time we have stayed in an apartment rather than a hotel and my husband was hugely admiring that I'd found somewhere so good! Thank you Liz and Tripadvisor!

Most Comfortable Holiday Ever
It was not like being at a hotel or anything. It was perfectly comfortable and like a home away from home. The only down side was that there was no calling out on the phone. Which was bad because we could not call for a cab or for delivery if need be. It would be nice if it was able to make local calls out. Otherwise the stay there was perfect. I would come back and deffinitely recommend to others.

Hopetoun apartment
Liz (the owner) was fantastic and incredibly helpful, she really could not do enough to help with our stay. The apartment was very clean and is in an ideal location of Edinburgh, close to all the main sights and shops. Having off street parking for us was also ideal as we had heavy luggage. In summary a lovely apartment with good safe off street parking, all in a fantastic location and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in Edinburgh.

Enjoyable stay
The apartment gave us all as a family the space, freedom and facilities to come and go as we pleased. Because of the ideal location, we left the car in the apartment car park and walked or used the local bus.
We were able to invite grandparents who were also visiting Edinburgh back for tea (and used a handy stool/step for a 6th place setting). As there was no standing on ceremony, the children could play in another room so the adults could catch up or sit and do a jigsaw or game (also provided) with the grown-ups.
All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful clean apartment in centre of Edinburgh (10 minutes walk from the castle). Owner Liz couldn't have been more helpful. From posting the keys out to us so we would not have to worry about our time of arrival to posting the battery charger we left after our stay. Thank you ever so much Liz!!

Lovely apartment, Great Location
We stayed in this apartment for a week during our recent visit to Edinburgh. The apartment was lovely, very well appointed with everything taken care of - including off street parking - even though a car isn't really a necessity unless you are travelling wider than Edinburgh as the apartment is so well located.
Liz does a great job managing the apartment and ensuring that everything is comfortable and as expected. We stayed in 4 apartments during this trip which included Europe and the UK - and this one was by far the best all round. Well done Liz! Highly recommended and we will be back when we next visit Edinburgh.

So Convenient. So Cool.
Everything about this flat, from the location (mere steps to Leith Walk) to the interior (modern and stylish), was perfect. My two traveling companions and I spent three nights, and we had more than enough space to feel unpacked, relaxed and at home. I only wish we'd taken advantage of the gorgeous kitchen more (too many Edinburgh eateries we were anxious to try). Thanks Liz! We definitely stay there again.

excellent stay close to everything
We stayed here between chritmas and new year- As a family of 5 adults we were a little cramped but the locatin and qualitiy of the accommodation more than compensated for this. Liz met us on our arrival- snowing, dark and very cold and settled us in quickly, making sure we were able to access local stores etc.. A great place to stay everything you need and walking distance to main sights.

A great apartment and a fantastic family holiday
The apartment was very clean and warm, with all of the facilities that we expected, including the extras that we had requested for our baby daughter i.e. high chair, cot, etc. The apartment was ideally located for seeing Edinburgh's main tourist attractions and was close to a number of local shops, bars and restaurants, whilst also being in a quiet residential area. Liz was very welcoming.

Highly Recommended
I stayed here overnight in November 2010. I traveled through with my girlfriend for the rugby at Murrayfield, and my girlfriend's mother and her friend also stayed and were going to see Joseph at The Edinburgh Playhouse.
The communication between Liz (the owner) was excellent and she was very prompt with replies to any questions I had via email. She informed us when we could check in to the apartment and how to find the car parking at the rear of the property.
Our first impressions of the apartment were that it was very warm, cosy, modern, clean, just exactly what we had been looking for.
The location was excellent, it was only 5 mins walk from the theatre, which suited the elders of the group, and just a little further to Princes Street and all the bars, etc which suited us.
There is also a very nice bar right at the end of the road (60 secs walk) called the Hopetoun Inn which we visited for a drink a bit later.The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of space for four of us.
I would highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely use it again next time we're visiting Edinburgh, a much better option than a hotel!!

Perfect for our stay
A great place - everything was spotless, milk in the fridge, flowers, TV etc. 15 min walk to Waverley/central but a ?5 cab between three of us so pretty central.
Also, possibly had the best breakfast we've ever had in nearby Broughton street at the Olive Branch cafe. All in all a great weekend, made all the better by a perfect place to stay. Thanks Liz!

Excellent value and comfort
We travelled to Edinburgh for a friend's party and were surprised to get such a wonderful apartment which was so convenient to the city centre in such a lovely location. Upon our arrival, which was late in the evening, we we welcomed with a warm and inviting apartment, fresh flowers and fesh milk in the fridge, a very welcome sight after our journey! The location is excellent, set in a quiet area but just a short walk to all the entertainment, bars and restaurants you could wish for and only a short walk to Princes Street. Liz, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating and I have no hesitation in recommending her property to anyone and have done so to all my friends. When I go back to Edinburgh, I will be booking this apartment as the value for money, convenience and the hospitality Liz has shown, cannot be beaten!

Great location, small but modern apartment.
Nice place, modern furnishings, but too small for 5 adults. Four would have fit better. It was really great to have snacks and milk, tea, and coffee left for us. This was in a great location and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Even had private parking.

Excellent apartment in an ideal location
Liz had the apartment ready earlier than planned and was very welcoming giving us excellent advice with regards to places to eat and shop. The apartment was excellent with everything we could wish for. Crombies in Broughton Street is an absolute must for lunch time treats and the Kings Wark at Leith should not be missed for excellent food, ales, wines and atmosphere.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay
Hopetoun Crescent could not have been better. In an excellent location, everything was within walking distance; grocery around the corner, fine restaurants nearby, and the area was safe and quiet. Liz was a gracious and helpful hostess, answered many questions and offered suggestions of where to eat and where to find the best sausages! The beautiful flowers on the dining table lasted all week -- a lovely touch. This was the perfect place for our family of four adults.

The apartment was very clean and modern. Location was great for us - about 15 minutes walk to Royal Mile. Lots of restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
We were family of 5 so a bit crowded. Reception was very friendly and helpful after long drive from south England.

Home From Home!
Great service and hospitality deserves recognition and this is exactly what Liz extended to us during our recent visit to Edinburgh. She was there to welcome us and showed us around an apartment spotlessly clean, well furnished and equipped with everything you need whilst self catering...a real home from home. It is situated in an ideal location to explore the wonderful city of Edinburgh either by foot or public transport and yet is quiet enough to sleep well at night. The availability of a car parking space is also a bonus in a city centre location. If you are thinking of visiting Edinburgh consider the Hopetoun Crescent apartment, you will not be disappointed!

A great stay.
The flat is nicely fitted out and decorated. It is clean and there are nice touches with toiletries and a generous fruit bowl and items for making drinks and breakfast cereals.

Wonderful accommodations
This lovely flat is located within walking distance of most of the well known attractions and most bus lines if you prefer that instead. We also had a car and found this location a good place from which to depart for day trips. The private car park was a huge plus. The flat was well furnished and maintained. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Dealing with Liz was a quite pleasant experience. She was very responsive throughout our booking process. This is a great find and an exceptional value.

We were unfamiliar with Edinburgh, but this proved to be a very convenient base. It is far enough away from the Royal Mile to avoid the tartan shops, but still an easy walk. The view from Calton Hill is close at hand, and was a favourite place to stroll to. Buses along the Leith Road are close by, and the Botanic Gardens and Dean Village are within walking distance as well. The owner was especially helpful upon our arrival and allowed us to drop off our bags just after the previous occupants had departed, so we didn't have to stash them somewhere until check-in time.

Immaculate and modern apartment
We received a very warm welcome from Liz - she was waiting at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was up one flight of stairs.
The apartment was very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Everything looked brand new - no owners cast offs here! All the soft furnishings had a lovely fresh smell. Liz had left some beautiful flowers on the dining table and also a basket of goodies in the kitchen plus milk in the fridge. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Liz had provided washing powder and conditioner for the washing machine.
The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of hangers in the large wardrobe. My son had plenty of room in the twin bedroom which looked very cosy - if only his bedroom at home looked as tidy as that!
The bathroom was very modern and clean with lots of extras in the drawers and a good shower with soft water.
The drawer in the hallway even had binoculars which we borrowed as we had forgotten to bring ours. The apartment has free wireless internet access. The only thing we were not so keen on was the wooden floor as it was noisy to walk on although it looked very nice. Most people would probably love it though.
Liz has taken a great deal of trouble to make sure that the apartment is very homely, although not cluttered - even the keyrings were special ones. There are some cards in the hallway drawer for taxis.
We only used the bus once when we went to the the Royal Yacht Britannia. We caught the No 22 bus from the bus stop opposite Tescos in Leith Walk. Lothian buses website provides more info.
There are lots of restaurants along Leith Walk. There are some roadworks there at the moment because of the new tramway. Hopetoun Crescent is quiet though apart from when an occasional car goes past on the cobbles.
We loved Edinburgh and Hopetoun Crescent apartment made it even more special.

Scotland is a beautiful contry
Our sun studies in Dundee for 9 months. It was an opportunity for us to visit scotland.He said us that Edinburgh was very nice.We didn't know.
But Edinburgh and Scotland are very nice.
Hopetoun Crescent apartment is also very nice. It's easy to go in the old town, easy to park a car.
We had normaly to arrive at 6PM but we had probleme with the volcano to come with the plane. Finaly, we only arrived at 6 am and margaret was at the appartment for us. Fantastic.
We had a real plasure in Edinburgh and will come back an other time.

Great holiday apartment
We spent 4 nights in this lovely, modern flat.
Very comfortable, clean and well appointed.
There's a Tesco Express 4 mins away (open until 11pm) which is very useful. Also, many car rental agencies within 2mins walk.
Owners were extremely helpful and responsive.
Nice park opposite flat.
Note: It takes about 15mins to walk to Princes St (centre of town) - and it's mostly uphill... On the flipside, walking back is dead easy :-)
Highly recommend - either for 1 or 2 couples, or a couple with 1-4 children.

Excellent place to stay
Liz has been very accommodating right from the beginning when we liaised through emails. We were late to check-in and should have informed her friend earlier but she was all nice and drove down within 10 minutes.
The apartment was new and clean, very stylishly furnished (our newly married friends couldn't help marvel at them) and there were little nice touches added by Liz (such as the nail varnish).
Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and crockery. And there was a bottle of milk bought just for us in the fridge. Very nice touches, really.
You can't beat the location of this apartment and it really is value for money. Our friends who came with us (all the way from Singapore) were very impressed and we all hope to come back if we ever have a chance to visit Scotland again.

Arrived to a very warm welcome. Parking as described and no need to move the car until we departed. Only a ten minute easy walk into the centre and so we were able to come and go as we pleased instead of having to wait upon the mercy of the buses - good as they are in Edinburgh.
As far as the accommodation in general was concerned we had everything we required and more.

Excellent weekend
Stayed 3 nights, 4 brothers away, apartment was excellent, modern interior, clean and well prepared. Located in a quiet residential type location.
Liz is really helpful. Be prepared for a 10 min walk to the to the centre of the city, a pleasant walk though.
Edinburgh is a beautiful city, the castle tour is a little pricey, but worth it. Take the open top bus tour, great value 4 different buses for 24 hours only £15. Both above give discount for over 60s.
Botanic gardens worth a visit, really nice and free!!
Also, found everyone very nice and helpful.
Will definitely revisit the city and stay at hopetoun crescent.

Delightful and cozy home away from home.
The apartment was great but what made the experience in staying in this lovely apartment just amazing was Liz. Beautiful apartment in good situation
Hopetoun's apartment crescent is perfectly equipped with completely new furniture and placed good (15 minutes by foot of the royal mile. In necessary case has a parking in the door of the apartment.
Liz is very nice
The best: Edinburgh and the surroundings (visiting now famous roselyn chapel to approximately 45 minutes in car from edinburgh.
The worse: the weather, rain and snow to 0 degrees for 4 days non-stop. But good the Scotch pubs us received enough good.

Annandale Street apartment review
We actually stayed at the apartment in Annandale Street, which is also managed by Liz McVie.
The location was pretty near to the centre of Edinburgh, but also within walking distance of other spots worth seeing, such as Leith or the Botanical Gardens. The original Valvona & Crolla deli, and the cinema with the giraffe sculpture outside, are both also very close.
The flat itself was cosy, very warm (which was great for that time of year), and had everything you might want for a stay. We particularly liked the little basket of tea, coffee, biscuits, and cereal, with milk in the fridge.
Liz herself was very kind and helpful, patiently waiting for us despite the lateness of our train, and was always at the end of a phone if we needed her.
Overall, we had a lovely time at Annandale Street, and we would be very happy to come back.

A great place for a holiday in this beautiful city
We had a lovely few days staying in Hopetoun Crescent. It was easy to walk in
to the city centre (10 mins) but in a quiet location with little passing traffic.
We have a 14 month old daughter and the apartment was fine and safe for her,
we moved some of the ornaments out of her way and Liz kindly put them all
back for us after we'd gone. The travel cot and high chair provided were ideal.
The apartment was very clean and had everything you would need. In
summary, we would recommend this apartment highly for a holiday.

Lovely apartment in a convenient location
We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and had a lovely time. We received a
really warm welcome and the apartment was perfect for us and our two small
children. Liz was fabulous and provided everything we needed for the kids.
The apartment is modern, cosy, warm and comes with everything you would
need.
The location was great as it was quiet (not on a busy road) and we could walk
into the centre of town and we were even given an off-street parking spot.
There was a Tesco Metro just a few minutes walk away which is handy if you
were cooking in the apartment (which we were with kids!).

Gorgeous, Central, Well Equipped - Fantastic
We had an amazing stay at the Hopetoun apartments, being people who like to cook we were amazed how well equipped the kitchen was, all the utensils we brought with us were quickly put back in the car. The apartments are furnished and decorated to the highest standards and all details have been thought of, basket of breakfast goodies, toiletries, flowers it truly had more of a boutique hotel feel than an apartment. The apartment is well situated, with shops bars and restaurants of Leith Walk a stone throw away and Princes Street about a 10 min walk. The location is peaceful for somewhere so central with a lovely little park opposite. The owner was really helpful and friendly and accommodated various requests that we had asked for before. Traveling at a time we had a ton of snow the apartments were really well heated and also very secure. We have traveled quite a lot and I would rate this higher than any apartment we have stayed in and quite a lot of hotels too. Thank you Liz for a marvelous stay and we are sure to be back.

Fantastic Stay
We can't say enough good things about our stay at the flat. The flat was beautiful, clean, with all the modern conviniences, and in a good location. We were easily be able to walk from Waverly train station.
We were met in person and told where the nearest grocery store was. It had free WiFi, TV (with DVD), dish washer, full kitchen, and off street parking (if you drove).
The location is great! It's a 15 minute walk to Waverly station or a 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. There is a large shopping mall nearby with a cinema as well (10 minute walk).
We will definately be staying there again when we return to Edinburgh!

Our experience in hopetoun crescent was perfect. We where welcomed by Liz, who helped us with everything we needed, and gave us all tips to the city. The apartment is greatly located, and full of charming details. We loved the fresh flowers. Liz is basically the best host you will find.
I will definitely recommend hopetoun crescent apartment to anyone planning to have some wonderful days in stunning Edinburgh.

An Oasis of Calm
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in October. The flat is small by North American standards but perfectly adequate for a short stay. There are 2 bedrooms, both situated at the back of the flat overlooking the building's small carpark. It was beautifully quiet at night allowing for a welcome escape from the noise and constant activity of the city. We didn't have meals in the flat but the kitchen was very well equipped. The location is great - an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and attractions. We will stay here again.

the perfect self-service apartment
The most beautiful appartment I've ever seen! Also if the weather in Edinburgh should be bad, I could stay in the flat all the day because it's so lovely. Nice kitchen - nice bathroom - fantastic living-room! It was very clean and there was a lovely welcome package in the kitchen (with food for breakfast and coffeetime). I plan to come back!

We had a great stay the flat was immaculate everything you could want was there.The apartment was local to all services and just a short walk from the center.Liz was very friendly and helpful.The little things like milk and tea coffee and cereal ect was a great bonus.would highly recommend it

the perfect apartment
The perfect apartment is PERFECT bacause is nice, well located, clean good, decorated good and at our arrival it was full of flowers. In 5 min. walking we were in the center. Up to place to park and Internet. Perfect!!!

My friends & I stayed in Edinburgh for 3 nights. We found the unit modern, clean & very well presented with 2 vases of flowers as an added touch. The outlook was onto a leafy park giving the unit a very homey feel.
The location was fantastic being very close to lots of restuarants, the theatre and a very easy 10 min walk to the heart of Edinburgh & only 2 mins to a bus service.
Overall I would rate the apartment as excellent & if ever I go back to Edinburgh I would definitely stay there again. Also, incredible value for money. Many thanks for a top holiday.

Hopetoun Crescent rocks!
Liz was extremely welcoming; she had anticipated everything that we could need and the apartment was well furnished. We had come to Edinburgh for the Fringe and being an easy walk from everything was important. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as shops if we felt like a night in. The apartment itself is in a reasonably quiet neighbourhood so no disturbed nights. Would definitely visit again if coming to Edinburgh.

Really Fantastic Flat....Lovely Person...
The flat is very luxurious and there is great attention to detail by Liz, the lovely owner. For instance...there was a big welcome basket of goodies waiting for us. Big soft towels, free toiletries, nice bedding, comfy beds, snazzy tv and posh fire. Free wifi, parking permit and nice and quiet.....no neighbour noise. The flat is opposite a lovely little green park but really central for shops and restaurants. Really nice kitchen, good shower and plenty of coat hangers.
All in all like staying in a boutique hotel...
Would definitely return.

A fantastic apartment
This apartment is beautifully furnished, and was absolutely immaculate when we arrived. Thank to Liz's excellent attention to detail, there was nothing more we could've asked for - she'd thought of everything and was very friendly and accomodating. We felt very well looked after and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or reccomend to friends.

Great Apartment, Great Location
We have stayed in this apartment four times now and each time has been a very positive
experience. The first thing you notice is the personal welcome you get, such as fresh flowers,
fresh milk, biscuits, and other bits which make you feel at home, and make your arrival
easier. The apartment has everything you will need for your stay. It is clean, modern, homely
and in a fantastic location. The centre of Edinburgh is only a short stroll if you want culture,
restaurants, bars etc. or if you want an evening in there is a great local Italian deli (Valvona &
Crolla). Highly recommended and great value.

A comfortable and well appointed hHaven from the bustle of the F
I found the flat clean and well appointed. The standard of linen and furnishings was good and we were comfortable there.
The location was convenient and walking distance from the station and the centre of town.
Our dealings with the owner were clear and efficient and I would recommend the flat without reserve.

splendid apartment
We liked this apartment very much because it is
very close to the city centre (10 minute-walk).
It is very nicely furnished and complete.
Everything you need is in the apartment.
The only thing we missed (a little bit)was a dishwasher. The service we received from Liz Mc Vie

High quality and lovely apartment in excellent location
The apartment is of the highest standards all round - decor, furniture, equipment and cleanliness. Excellent communications and service provided by the owner before and throughout the stay (especially the welcoming items on arrival.) Location is excellent for central Edinburgh whether by foot or via many buses nearby and handy supermarket nearby for self-catering. Excellent value for money apartment that will use again for stays in Edinburgh.

Apartment in Central Edinburgh
Nice two bedroom and a living room apartment in a central position of Edinburgh. Apartment was very clean and the service outstanding. It was very easy to reach all major sights, museums etc. from this location. From the year 2011 you will reach this location very easy from Edinburg Airport, Ocean Terminal etc. by the new tram network, just depart at the McDonald Road (easy to remember!).
Rcommended: take a walk through Calton Hill to the Arthur´s Seat at Holyrood Park. On the way, you may visit Scottish Parliament and Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Great Location, Very Clean,
This self catering unit was close to a main street in Dublin, so we walked everywhere. The best thing was a youth hostel a block away for questions, ideas, computers with internet access not just wireless,and good coffee.

Smart flat very conveniently located in the centre of Edinburgh.
It is within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Edinburgh, in a quiet street. There is a sage car park at the rear, and a small public garden at the front.
Sleeps 4; it is very well maintained. The property is a smallish 2 bedroom flat - probably not the ideal place for a family if you intend spending a lot of time in the place (although why you would go to Edinburgh to watch TV is beyond me!).
Took the dogs there last year with my grandchildren. They were all very comfortable and we could walk the dogs regularly in the park, when they were not down the beach for their big walks. (There is a dog-friendly beech c. 15 mins drive away.)

Ideal Apartment & Location in Edinburgh
My husband and I stayed in this very well appointed apartment for 10 days. We were close to everything in Edinburgh and within walking distance to Princess Street. Loads of delicatessens, food shops and any other kind of shops needed. We packed light for our 2 month driving tour of Scotland so having a washer/dryer was ideal. Beds extremely comfortable, very beautiful modern kitchen & bathroom. This apartment rates high in our opinion and we would recommend it to anyone. Liz, the owner, was available for anything and everything. We thank Liz for making our stay ideal.
