I traveled with my husband and another couple joined us. We have all rented villas and apartments in the U.S. and Europe. We all agreed this was the best rental unit we have ever stayed in. From the onset of selection and payment, to follow through with the refund of the deposit, it was flawless. It is centrally located, with a view of the castle, it is a large unit with modern appliances that all work well. It was spotlessly clean. When we arrived we couldn't find the password for wifi and within 5 minutes Rachel and Kirstie showed up and gave us the password as well as great advice on Edinburgh, traffic, parking, anything we asked. All of us have already recommended this to whoever would listen. I just can't keep this a secret, but, don't want it to be booked when we go back to Edinburgh.

We have used the same agency the last x2 years and Castle Terrace is a beautiful apartment to stay with friends or family when visiting the Fringe or Tattoo.
Decorated to a high standard with spacious bedrooms, x2 en suite, with a 3rd bathroom off central hallway. Lovely lounge and kitchen.
Location means you get to see Tattoo fireworks from Castle every evening and is within easy walk of Princes Street and Royal Mile.
All our friends were very impressed and would stay here again. -

We rented this apartment as a surprise, all female trip for one of our group who had just retired. It was a fantastic location next to the castle and one of the most comfortable, luxurious places we have stayed. The experience was extended to include the hire of a chef and waitress(booked through the company) to cook and serve dinner on the Saturday night. The food was fantastic and Steven(chef) and June(waitress) cooked, served and cleaned for us and made the night an experience to treasure.
Watch out for the parking in Edinburgh - we parked at a metered bay and returned at 8 in the morning to move the car and it had been towed away due to the arrival of the Farmer's market on a Saturday morning at 7 o'clock. We didn't have to pay because there were no notices to inform of this but it was inconvenient as we had to taxi across the city to pick up the car. So be warned!!
Even that did not detract from the fab weekend.
