Description from the owner
This lovely ground level city-centre apartment 'EYRE' is situated on the edge of Edinburgh's historic Georgian New Town. Despite its proximity to Princes Street, the Castle and all of Edinburgh's social and cultural sites, it is a quiet haven set within landscaped gardens. You even have private parking outside the front door. This one bedroom apartment is ideal for visiting couples but can actually sleep 3, with use of a folding-bed in the living room. Comfortably and tastefully decorated and equipped throughout, you will find this the ideal spot for exploring everything the city has to offer. Additional Location Information
Eyre Crescent is situated just North of Princes Street in the prestigious Georgian New Town. However it is set in quiet gardens away from the road so is a remarkably peaceful setting for so central a location. The historic and quirky 'village' of Stockbridge is a mere 5 mins walk to the West while Leith, home to the Royal Yacht Britannia AND three Michelin starred restaurants is only a short journey to the East.

Wonderful host, wonderful apartment, wonderful location
My husband and I and our grown daughter had the pleasure of staying at this terrific apartment. It was not only as advertised but much more. No amenity was overlooked and it was gloriously easy to get everywhere on foot! Walking in the neighborhood was a joy and the nearness of the botanical gardens was such a plus. This was our 56th vacation rental and Ian's apartment rates right at the top!
It is particularly suitable if anyone in your party has a problem with steps - there aren't any. The reserved parking place and proximity to rental car agencies was a really wonderful addition.

Just Like Home
The apartment was great a home away from home.
Within easy walk of all transportation, city sights, restaurants and local supermarket. Kitchen was great for self catering breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Proprietor provided great hospitality!

We couldn't have asked for more, just what we needed
The apartment is warm, comfortable and well equiped, a modern building within an attractive Georgian crescent. Ian and Celia were welcoming and friendly and gave us all the information we needed, advising us of local amenities and attractions and all that we needed to know about the apartment, even welcoming us with a vase of flowers. The description of the apartment doesn't tell you how instantly at home you are made to feel. There was plenty of information in the apartment about what to see and do. The area is quiet and peaceful, but within easy walking distance of many good restaurants (2 very close by) and the City centre. There were taxis round the corner, if you need them and the Botanical Gardens an easy walk away. We found the apartment a perfect base from which to explore a wonderful city, we will definitely be booking it again. The only down-side is that we couldn't stay longer.

Very satisfactory
This flat suited us perfectly. It was in just the right location for our needs, it was comfortable and provided all the facilities we wanted. One of our priorities was to be able to drive out of Edinburgh easily to the north, and this we were able to do. We also appreciated the dedicated parking space, the pleasant views (the flat is in a modern block but is surrounded by a traditional crescent of Edinburgh houses), and the supermarket within walking distance. We were able to walk into the city centre, although there are buses too, and enjoyed a visit to the nearby Botanical Gardens.

Convenient, good value and free parking!
Good contact when booking and on arrival. Everything we needed was there. Stylish and modern and within walking distance of the city centre. Good bus service too.Supermarket five minutes away, restaurants on hand.
the bathroom with no window was our least favourite feature.
