Whitley BayFantastic apartment in the heart of the city
Left on 03/18/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We were looking for an alternative to staying in a hotel and we certainly found it! What a brilliant apartment which had everything we needed. Ample living accommodation with good kitchen facilities. The added touch of having milk, tea and coffee etc on arrival was such a nice thought.
The apartment is situated at the end of Princes Street and a stones throw away from all of attractions. Perfect for discovering the city.
Arranging our stay was very simple. John stayed in regular contact via email and kept us up-to-date with everything. They were on hand to call when needed and offered friendly advice.
Couldn't have asked for a better stay and would recommend the apartment to many.

Houston, TexasExcellent Location
Left on 09/03/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This loft apartment is not for those who don't like to walk. There are at least 40 steps to climb so with suitcases it can be a strain on those not fit or with disabilities. That being said for 120 pounds per night it was a very adequate apartment with open bedroom, full kitchen and living room. The view out some of the windows toward the sea was beautiful and the quiet location at the end of the royal mile within walking distance of the center city and attractions was excellent. Right in front, Howie's restaurant served tasty and reasonable meals with cheery service. The furnishings are simple and the kitchen is a bit dated so don't expect too much. The heater was complicated to figure out but the owner had set it to kick in at 5am and go off in the pm so this worked out well since it was still warm enough in late august. There is only one bedroom which is open to the rest of the house so it is only suited for a couple or family used to sleeping together using the living room. The lack of wi fi was a nuisance but there is a cafe within 10 minutes with free wi fi. All in all I would probably go back there again.

LondonFabulous property in convenient and picturesque location
Left on 08/18/2011 for a stay in May 2011
My husband, myself and 14 yr old stayed in this flat for a long weekend. The location is great, a 10 minute walk from Waverley Station and with views over the Firth of Forth. Its central location meant that we were able to walk to most of the sights and local buses were within 3 minutes walk to visit Leith and Portobello. The owners arrangements for key collection were straightforward and easy. The property was clean, light and bright. The floor plan is rectangular with a double bedroom (no door) at one end, then kitchen and lovely bathroom in the centre, and large living room with sofa bed at the other end. It is a great layout and suited us beautifully. There is no wi-fi, but we just went to the hotel across the road who let us use their system for the price of a cup of tea. Accommodation recommended, and we would go there again - now we know about this jewel.

Left on 05/20/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Edinburgh is our favourite city to visit and we have stayed at this apartment on 4 or 5 occasions over the past 3 years.
The location is approximately 3-4 minutes walk from Princes Street and Edinburgh Waverley Station which is ideal.
The apartment itself has a open plan living area , dining area , kitchen facilities including oven , double bed and separate bathroom. The apartment is clean , comfortable and quiet.
Lovely views from the apartment itself across Edinburgh and Carlton Hill.
The owner is extremely friendly , welcoming and nothing too much trouble to assist your stay.
We are already looking forward to another stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.
