Kent, UKSpacious, comfortable, great location

Five of us stayed at one of the Regents Terrace apartments and loved it. It was easy walking distance to all the main sights in Edinburgh, a quiet street (with lots of other lovely apartments by the way) and even had a working gas fireplace which made it that much cosier. The living room was huge and comfortable and the bedrooms smaller but very comfortable as well. Even the bed in living room for my sister was comfortable and did not intrude into the room at all because it was so spacious. We used the kitchen for breakfast and some evening meals and it was well equipped with basic kitchen things. Shameem was a great host and helpful when we had questions.
Only suggestion for improvement is a second wc and / or shower, which is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. But it was a great apartment and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Edinburgh as a local for a few days. -

My mum and aunt stayed at the Garden apartment last week and came back with very positive reviews. Our main reason for choosing the apartment (after extensive online search) was proximity to the station and major attractions and I am told we did not go wrong. The apartment is centrally located, which is particulalry useful for those like my mum who did not have a car at their disposal.
I am told the apartment was lovely and clean and catered to all their needs. John and Shamim were exteremly helpful and advised my family about local bus tours and sightseeing. Although I was apparenhensive about sending two elderly ladies to a new city ,on their own, I was comforted by knowing that they were settled in safe and friendly surroundings and were well looked after.
My only recommendation would be to provide additional light breakfast material in addition to the complimentary milk and tea facilities-perhaps a small pack of eggs and bread and butter.
Based on the positive comments from my mum, I would definitely hope to stay at one of these apartments at raegent Terrace on my next visit to Edinburgh. -

We spent 2 nights at St. Margaret's apartment. An ideal place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. Regent Terrace is only ten minute walk or powerchair ride from the Royal Mile - an ideal location above the new Scottish Parliament buiding. The apartments are stunning - beautiful high ceilings, very spacious and adequately furnished incl a large flat-screen television in the lounge. Kitchen is very well equipped and the starter kit of coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, bread rolls, little jams and butter was perfect. Access for manual wheelchair user to ground floor apartment OK with own ramp or help. Bathroom not adapted, but adequate space to use with help. Note: Shower above bath, therefore limited access. On Road parking OK for Blue Badge holder - even in Festival week. I would certainly recommend these apartments to others and would stay there again when visiting Edinburgh. John (the owner) and his colleague Tom were very friendly, helpful and can be trusted. Thank you.

My friends and I spent 2 nights at St. Margaret's apartment and it is an ideal place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. Regent Terrace is a ten minute walk from the Royal Mile - an ideal location. The apartments are very impressive from the outside, but the inside is equally stunning - beautiful high ceilings, very spacious and quaint furnishings. Although we didn't have time to watch TV, there is also a large flat-screen television in the lounge. The kitchen is very well equipped and the starter kit of coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, little jams and butter was perfect. John (the owner) and his colleague Tom were very friendly and helpful too. I would certainly recommend these apartments again and would love to stay there again on my next visit to Edinburgh. Thank you.

We loved this building from the outside and the inside. The position on Regent Terrace is so close to the Royal Mile, and walking into the city centre you have the memorable view of the Edinburgh skyline. Inside the apartment we loved the high ceilings, the space and the furnishings. From the windows we had a wonderful view over the palace to arthur's Seat and as we could see the weather surrounding it we could pick our day to climb the mount. John was such a friendly and helpful host, with a surprise private garden up his sleeve. We are looking forward to staying again this year.

I stayed at St. Margaret apartment on Regent Terrace for 3 nights in May. I took my family who came from Thailand up to Edinburgh for their every first trip to Scottland and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We stayed in the first floor 'drawing room' which was a beautiful apartment with an enormous living room overlooking the mountains and the city centre. We absolutely love the fire place (which works perfectly well) and the fact that we could cook our own meals. John, the owner, was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were provided with a 'starter kit' of milk, organge juice, tea, and coffee. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The location is close enough to the city centre and the train station but also away enough from the noise and busy streets. It was a perfect stay for the best value for money. I will definitely go back again!
