Pricing during festivals, public holidays and special events is given on request. Please contact us. Rates are in British Pounds (£). Please note that a 25 % deposit is due within 5 days of making a reservation. Your reservation will be held open for 5 days until your deposit is received, whereupon your reservation will be confirmed. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of cancellation. The remainder of the balance is due upon the day of your arrival. We do *not* accommodate hen nights or stag parties.

My daughter and I stayed in the Royal Mile apartment for 3 nights and were very comfortable. The location is excellent with most attractions and waverley station only short walks away. The apartment was very clean, warm, spacious and surprisingly peaceful.

Our host John and his assistant (sorry I don't know how to spell his name) were wonderful. They rushed to get the apartment ready for tired travelers when we arrived early and were so helpful with directions.
The apartment is part of a georgian row house that has beautiful large windows looking out on arthurs Seat. It's a short walk to the Royal Mile and the historic center. The photos you see online are exactly what you get. Wi-fi didn't work inside the appartment, so we had to go outside on the stairs, a minor inconvenience. The high ceilings and spacious rooms are a real treat for those who don'e like the cookie cutter hotel experience.
Our extended family of five, including a four-year-old were very comfortable here and we would definitely stay again. -

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights & found it an ideal location for Fringe venues, cafes, pubs and public transport. It's right at the heart of the action but blissfully quiet at night, being at the top of the building. It was beautifully clean and light, and the sofa-bed is very comfortable. Tea, milk & sugar were provided, which was a nice touch. I'm bemused by previous comments about stairs, as there is a lift as well. A perfect place to stay - I'll be back!!

We stayed in this apartment July 21st through July 26th of 2011 with two adults and three children between the ages of 8-11 years old. The location is perfect - walking distance to most major tourist sites in "Old Town" Edinburgh and taxis are easily accessed on the same block for those who need a taxi. The train station is down hill from the apartment and about a 10 minute walk. We were met at the appointment time for check in, the owners/managers walked us through the apartment details and handed over the keys. The apartment was clean, reasonably well stocked and we would go back in a heartbeat. This is a great choice for a family or group wanting to stay in Old Town. The apartent is up a steep set of spiral stairs and this can get tricky with luggage. I would not recommend this apartment for someone with mobility issues or who is adverse to stairs.
