We (7 adults, 3 kids) rented this for about 5 days for our trip to Scotland. It had everything we needed, very clean. On the next street over, there was a small grocery, a great little restaurant for late night cravings, and bus stop. Quiet area for the most part. A couple of pubs around the corner, but no bother to us. We had difficulty navigating the bus system, and towards the end took cabs. A cab with 5 people was .70 pence more than 5 on the bus...well worth it and much faster. Five minutes to town in a cab. Benedetto's family was awesome and his son is adorable! The best part is Benedetto's Italian restaurant...he gave us 50% off coupons, so we decided to try it. Had we tried it earlier, we would have eaten there every day! Wonderful food, great service, fun waiter...well worth going.
Worked out great for us. A good 'base' from which to take our tours we scheduled. And after our other rental, getting this one in such clean condition was awesome! Thanks, Benedetto and family!

A likable welcome from Benedetto Vessella.
Pitt Street is a very quiet street, well placed for visiting the city center or to go out with a car.
The apartment is not luxuous but clean and well équiped.
In France, all the windows are closed with shutters; not in Great Bretain! But the beds are confortable; so we slept well, in spite of the light! A good memory...

The flat was wonderful. Large, light, and well-equipped. We loved the neighborhood, outside the touristy area but near to great restaurants and pubs. My husband and I brought our one and a half year old daughter, and our friends also brought their two and a half year old daughter, and we all had a great time. We would definitely stay there again, if we ever come back to Edinburgh, which we would love to.
