A good selection of shops, restaurants and bars in the local area. On an excellent bus route to city centre with reliable, frequent service. Private off-street parking available. had a nice family holiday in edingburgh. house is good for family, big space for children to play, clean and good location from beach and city center and tourist attractions. I would recommend the place for family holiday.

The house was lovely. Beautiful neighborhood, near a bus line that takes you right into the city. On the street corner, very easy to find after a long day of sightseeing. My family and friends stayed here when we came to get married this year. Great place.
However, one very important note. Though it is listed, this property Does NOT offer internet access, nor does it have a local phone line available. Coming in from outside the country, we arrived at the home to find that we had literally no way to communicate with the outside world. At first, didn't seem like a big deal, but then we realized that we needed directions to various locations for the wedding and couldn't even call these places or hire a cab.Response from Amanda Hepburn - 06/15/2012

It was extremely unfortunate that the Internet issue was due to the previous guests taking the USB Stick with them upon check-out and for that we do apologize whole-heartedly. We would just like to clarify that a replacement USB Stick and a spare USB Stick have now been purchased so that this issue will never arise again in the future. For the purposes of clarity for future guests ~ you will have Internet access :)
We do not advertise as having a telephone on the property. Most guests have the use of a mobile and even oversea's guests usually just purchase a local sim card to use in their own mobile.
We are delighted that you liked the house and neighbourhood and that you appreciated the convenience of public transport directly into the city centre. -

A very clean warm spacious house. Very comfortable beds. Well furnished, fully equipped kitchen . As high a standard as a 4* hotel and we would gladly stay again and we are thinking of rebooking for September. Suitable for adults and children. Tv in all bedroons. Owners very welcoming. Easy access to city centre via car or bus.
