The apartment was a little further out than we normally like, but wasn't a problem. When 5 adults are sharing I think two front door keys would be helpful. I was a little disappointed that one of the venetian blinds in the lounge didn't open due to a fault, other than that the property was excellent, and we all decided that we could quite happily live there!

The appartment is great for visiting central Edinburgh. It is well fitted out, clean and warm (our stay was at the end of October). The underground car park was very useful baring in mind the strict parking restrictions in the City. There is a small supermarket, restaurants and other local shops all within a couple of minutes walk. The only thing missing in the appartment in my view was a DVD player for times when you don't want to venture out.

The company was very helpful to us and the apartment was great. Everything that we needed during the holiday we found in the apartment, I can't think of anything that is missing from the equipment. The hallway is bleak but the living room and the rooms are good, especially the kitchen is very modern.
The location is very good with a nice cooperative grocery store on the same street. Walking to city center is very easy. There is a christian charity ran by nuns that gives food to less fortunate people on the same street but they caused absolutely no disturbance and I would not have even noticed them without the sign. Try the Vittoria restaurant on the main street close by, I absolutely loved the pizzas there
One thing that I found odd was the door, it seems that its possible to open the locks from the inside only with the keys which I found inconvenient.

This appartment exceeded our expeditions. The location is very good. The appartment is extremely well appointed (perhaps too good for a rental appartment). Parking is good. We were delighted with this appartment.
