We rented this house for our family of four and some extended family while we were on Edisto for a wedding. The house held all of us easily. The two living rooms and private bathrooms made it more relaxing then we thought possible. My only complaint was that the rugs were a little dirty and the comforters were unwashed so I had to wash them all when we arrived. Also, the pullout couches are not a great quality so were very uncomfortable. Other then that we were very happy with the house and the location.

Great house close to the beach, grocery store, and shops. Edisto is a wonderful spot for a family vacation. It's quiet with lots of biking and walking opportunities. I'm ready to go back tomorrow!

WE HAD NO CABLE UNTIL FRIDAY. WE CALLED THE OFFICE TWICE. SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS WITH US WERE IN THE HOUSE MOST OF THE DAY WITH NO TELEVISION TO WATCH. THE SECOND TIME WE CALLED WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE STAFF COULD DO. NOT VERY COOL. ESPECIALLY WITH THE OLYMPICS.

Property was gorgeous - exactly as described. Pool was cleaned everyday - an unexpected bonus. House was spotless when we arrived and home had all amenities expected. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to find this house and had a great time lounging by the pool and walking to the beach and the nearby shops. We wanted to nail it down for next year but the owner's moving in, so what can ya do.
We had very few gripes about the house, but a big one is the water quality. It looks like an RO system is in place, but I'm not sure it was working (it had a bird's nest built on it, for one thing). The fridge filter should be replaced once a month too, given the Edisto water situation.
The coffeemaker had to be replaced, which Atwood did as soon as we called. The front porch needs some furniture! It's a great place for sitting late in the afternoon. The pool was top notch, clean and shady, with nice chairs around. Some of the sliding door handles need attention. Routine maintenance type things. Highly recommend this property - wish we could rent again! -

The house is amazing! We only had one complaint and that was some of the beds were either really uncomfortable or made a lot of noise. Other than that we found everything to be great. And we loved our neighbors!

The house was wonderful and in a great spot for us. The bedrooms were all great, the amenities were all as advertised. The only thing I would have changed would have been the outside shower head which was in need of replacing. Great house for a vacation!

Regarding amenities...Having only one phone on the second floor was the only real problem we had...and apparently the other phone jacks in the house are not activated.

Everything was good except the carpet. It was dirty in the bedrooms. Also I would like the shower curtains to be cleaner.
When we are looking for a place to rent. The things I look for are those that I memtioned above plus making sure the mattress pads are clean.

We had a wonderful family beach trip. The house was beautiful and so close to the beach. There were 7 adults and 2 kids on our trip and the openness and spaciousness of the house was a blessing. Will definitely come back!

Only 2 TVs when 3 had been advertised. No wireless internet as advertised. We had educators & students counting on using that during Spring Break. No covering on windows upstairs where sleeping couches were located - too much early morning light.Overall the house was very nice, in great location especially for our kids.Inside very clean, outside porches,decks,etc. had not been cleaned.We enjoyed our week!

Our first impression of the house came when we opened the door and smelled the fresh clean fragrance. The house was spacious and great for entertaining. The kitchen was very accomadating and well stocked. The view from the dining room and all of the decks was excellent. The large yard gave us room to play ball and toss a frizby without having someone right beside you. The lot is a great size. We also enjoyed the crabbing that you could do from the back yard and often at breakfast we watched the fish in the lake behind the house. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone.

Beautiful home, marred by cockroach infestation. Dirty linens in bag with clean ones delivered; had to be exchanged. Needed on-call service for an emergency, which brochure says is available, and received no response.

Dish washer did not work. No broom or dustpan in house. Cable was out from Saturday to Monday afternoon.
