The lift (elevator) made unloading so much easier. Had my 90 year old mom's surprise birthday at my brother's house in Edisto. She stayed with us and did not have to climb stairs! (Although she still can!)

The AC was not working when we checked in after housr. With one phone call they had some one come out the next morning. Great time with friends in a great house. We would definetly rent again.

The staff at Atwood is first class. The unit was clean from an appearence stand point but the overall clean factor was not very good. also would it kill you to have one roll TP in the bathrooms and one roll of paper towels.

We actually rented two properties, Beach Bums and Sweet Grass and luckily we had two because Beach Bums had no tv or internet access which really threw us for a loop. Thank God Sweet Grass's living room tv was working and so was the internet access. Even though you're on vacation, your job must continue. Both properties were beautifully decorated and very clean!!!

We had a wonderful time. The elevator only worked the day we moved in and fixed by the day we moved out. Was hard on the knees. Not much comfortable sitting for a home that should house 14. Nice porch with table and fans was a nice place to relax. Wonderful air conditioning and very nice kitchen/dining area with lots of seating.

We really enjoyed out time in Edisto Beach! The layout of the house was perfect and it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. This is the perfect place for total rest and getting away! The teenagers were a little bored as there is really nohing to do on the island after a day at the beach.

We enjoyed our stay in Edisto. The house was very well decorated, appointed, and the size was great for our needs. We too found the floors and porches to be unclean on our arrival. The need for a good moping was evident by dirt on socks worn around the house. We had a great stay over the thanksgiving long weekend.

1)This is a nice place. We never could get the internet to work, although the management at Atwood tried their best. we would definitely stay there again.
2)We were unable to get in the house until after 5 PM on saturday, and have to be out by 10 AM the next saturday. we felt as though we were only getting 6 days. -

We had never gotten together as a total family for many years. Ages ranged from 2 years old to 80 years old. We came from as far as New England down to Florida. There was nothing to do but play with each other which is exactly what this family needed after suffering an unexpected death of a child in May 07.
We learned that "life is but a glance out a window". Edisto will have a life long memory for all of us. -
