We plan to make this an annual event. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was everything I had hoped it would be. The owners of this house have very good taste and put a lot of thought into this house! I would recommend this house to everyone!

Cat's Cottage is an absolutely wonderful home to visit. We felt as though we were home, not at a beach rental. The furnishings and appointments are comfortable and tastefully done. We had the Bridal luncheon there and utilized the deck and screened in porch which provided plenty of room and exposure to the beautiful yard and view. Bride and Bridesmaids utilized the upstairs to ready themselves for the event with plenty of room and privacy.
Overall, you have a home that we would love to visit again and again.

The house was perfect for our group which was visiting over the long four day holiday weekend. The description and photographs I found online matched exactly what we found when we arrived at the house. The view from the rear of the golf course and adjacent homes was absolutely beautiful. Not one of the four couples was disappointed in the least and we discussed making this an annual event and staying at Cat's Cottage.

My family and I recently spent a few days in beautiful Edisto Beach, SC...we stayed, for the second year, in Cat's Cottage...a most beautiful and charming home...inside and out!! We love the close proximity to the beach...the beautiful lagoon in the back...and the gorgeous views! The amenities offered are wonderful...and I, personally, love the home's beautiful decor! The spacious floor plan allows ample room for a family of 9, which includes 3 grandchildren! We will definitely return to Cat's Cottage! I highly recommend you plan a visit soon!

We really enjoyed Cat's Cottage - very spacious. Loved the big kitchen and porch areas. Very nice to have the bike path so close and to be on a quieter part of the island. We were shocked one day to see a crocodile swim up to us in the water behind the house. It seemed to be asking for food. We didn't feed it. Everything was perfect and the staff at Atwood were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rocking chairs on the front porch were in rough shape, but everything else great. Will definitely book with Atwood in the future!

We all believe we have found a permanent site for our family vacation. Spacious, clean and convenient to the beach are only a few of the things that will keep us coming back. We have been staying at this house for the past 5 or 6 years. We absolutely love it. The house is beautiful and the view of the golf course is phenomenal. The house is always in perfect order when we arrive and the rental agency is always a pleasure to work with! Can't wait to return next year!

We rented the property with some friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. After seeing the pictures of this house I had set my expectations pretty high. After seeing the house, they were exceeded. The size and decor of this house is just amazing. We loved being on the pond/lagoon. It is a very short walk to the beach, our 18month old was able to walk to the beach from the house. I was concerned about the porches after seeing other reviewers comments. The porch looks great in person. I walked barefoot on it numerous times. The entire house is amazing and the separate ice machine is very handy. We look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful Home! Very nicely decorated! Furniture and
Bedding very comfortable. Kitchen was very open and equipped, but had no cabinets to place food for week.. They were used or locked up!
Large amount of spider webs as you walk in back door from garage in ceiling!
Look up as you enter! The grill should be replaced.
We had a wonderful time in this lovely home! The rental company did an excellent job and we will rent again! -

Stayed in same house last year. Overall condition not as good especially considering $200 increase. No paper products furnished so be prepared. Location is great. Hard to find a house with full size beds in every bedroom and four baths. Important when house shared by several couples. May rent again next year but will consider others.

Our family has been staying in the rental house next door to Cat's Cottage, but outgrew the accomodations there. We looked at Cat's Cottage and knew right away it was what we wanted. Perfect size, great furnishings, and super locaton. The agency personnel at check in and check out were extremely nice! The house was very clean upon our arrival. Our plan is to hopefully return to Cat's Cottage for many years to come. LOVE EDISTO BEACH!!

This place was the best rental we've stayed for our annual retreat. We have five couples and it was perfect. The layout, the feel... The only thing we missed was internet connection. We had a lot of emails to catch up on when we got back home!

This is a beautiful house located two blocks from the beach. The owners did a lot of planning in the layout and construction including very nice decorating. There are only a few items that could improve the stay at Cat's. Some of the kitchen stove burners would not stay continuously on when turned on. Some of the wicker furniture on the back porch was worn out. The living room furniture needs replacement. There are small maintenance items that need attention like door stops denting walls and minor plaster peeling around a shower. Overall this is a fabulous house in a great location providing a great beach experience.

This was our 5th time staying at Cats Cottage! We never want to go home when that time comes. Every year we spend a family vacation together (10 of us), and the past 5 of 6 trips have been to Edisto to stay at Cats Cottage, aka "The Yellow House With The Red Roof" as we call it thanks to my 3 year old nephew who continuously called it this on our first trip and it has kinda stuck as a memory for the family. The house is located perfectly, being close to everything, but off the beaten path. We enjoy this chance to spend time together as a family and slow down a bit. Edisto is the perfect vacation spot and Cats Cottage is unanimously our place to stay!

The location of this house was just what we were looking for. It's a quiet street, off the main road. The view of the pond and golf course from the rear deck was beautiful and entertaining. (Many of the golf balls from that tee ended up in the water.)It's only a short walk to the beach on the sound. Lots of room in the house. We will definitely come back to Cat's Cottage.
