Our group included three generations of extended family members and friends ranging in age from teens to 80+. Finding a house with creek access that is large enough to accommodate our large group can be difficult at Edisto, but this house was absolutely perfect! We never felt crowded, the house was very comfortable and the breezes on the large shaded porch were wonderful in spite of a couple of near 100 degree days. Having large groups or squadrons of pelicans glide over the porch and dock all day was an added bonus.
Crabbing off the dock was excellent throughout our stay and even the kids caught a few red drum in the creek. Having the Hammocks' boat ramp adjoin the property makes kayaking the inlet even easier and more accessable.
