This attractive, stone-built semi detached cottage has stunning sea views from all the rooms and sleeps up to three people. This attractive, stone-built semi detached cottage is a converted stable and has beautiful sea views from all its windows. It retains many of its original and attractive features such as timbered ceilings and stone steps. The inviting accommodation is all on one level and is bright and spacious, with a generous family bedroom that comfortably sleeps up to three people with a double and a single bed. The bright kitchen diner is well equipped and has two stone steps leading to the large, light and airy sitting room. This... room has stunning views, a feature fireplace with an electric fire and an impressive timbered ceiling. The outside is a delight with a shared enclosed rear lawn, front patio and barbecue with furniture and a pond. An ideal property for a memorable holiday.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker (gas hob), microwave, fridge, freezer, TV, DVD, stereo/CD player. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Shared enclosed rear lawn area and front patio area with furniture, BBQ and pond. Sorry, no smoking. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Owner is willing to walk guests’ dogs should they plan a long day out. Note: Horse riding available at owner’s discretion. Note: This property is not suitable for children under 5.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The village of Egton in the heart of the North York Moors has charming sandstone cottages and is famous for the annual Agricultural and Gooseberry shows that are held in August. The villages of Egton and Egton Bridge have four public houses between them, as well as a shop and garage. Egton Bridge is regarded as one of Yorkshire’s loveliest villages and is situated on the River Esk in a steep sided valley. The church of St Hedda is famous for its murals, and there are some beautiful walks to be found at Arnecliffe Woods and the Old Mill and stepping stones on the Esk are worth exploring. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Lovely spacious cottage with fabulous views,owners very welcoming and friendly and on hand to give advise on the area .Peaceful location ,ideal place if you want to get away from it all.Diesel our Boxer dog had a lovely time.

  This cottage is very nice and the owners have thought of everything to equip it with even a hair dryer. The owners are very on hand and very friendly, you are right out in the countryside but with the main road a couple hundred yards away from which is is a pleasant 15 minutes drive away into Whitby.I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone.

  A very dog friendly cottage with welcoming, friendly and helpful owners on site. Spacious accommodation for two with a well equipped kitchen. Located in a tranquil setting with pleasant views and well tended gardens. Conveniently situated for the moors and Whitby. No pubs within walking distance but several a short car's journey away. Only criticism was that slightly more care could have been taken in cleaning after the previous occupants (e.g.dog hairs on the carpets, grimey mirrors).

  Gorgeous rustic spacious but cosy cottage in lovely setting with lovely views. Extremely friendly owners. Own garden for our two dogs. Not far from Whitby and the Moors. Excellent food pubs nearby. Only thing was it didn't seem to us that the cottage had been cleaned after the last guests - the bathroom was clearly dirty and things like dead flies on windowsills don't give the best impression. It was just a good job that all the positive things outweighed this.
