We had a great time!
We were welcomed by snacks on the table, essentials in the fridge and a spotlessly clean apartment which exceeded our expectations. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is generously sized and very pleasant, the cooking / eating facilities just right, with a well-equipped kitchen, and there are the added bonuses of two TVs with a supply of things to watch / listen to. There is a great patio for eating out in, surrounded by bougainvilleas.
The location is great - walking distance to the beach-front, a supermarket just round the corner, and easy parking, with main routes easily accessible.
Rachel and Ze-ev are kind hosts. They were willing to help out with our various inquiries and invited my daughter and wife to a meal on a day that they didn't go to the beach.
Liked most - hard to say as so much was just right. Liked least - nothing really. The kitchen / dining area is quite cramped, but it works well and in Eilat I imagine you can eat outside much of the time anyway.

We are parents with 4 children and our oldest was on a gap year away from the home for the first time.We were hoping to be together in Israel. We have contacted a few people in Eilat, but because there is 6 of us the Tehar-Levs were the only ones who clearly said they would be happy to have us.
We have received detailed instructions. The first afternoon we were celebrating our daughter Joy's 19th birthday around the garden table and our hosts joined us.Rachel gave Joy a beautiful rose in a ceramic vase she created herself.Later we were surpriced by Zeev who makes bread and beer.
Their place is in a quiet corner of Eilat, just across from a supermarket, close to the sea. Not only it has all you may possibly need, but it has been decorated with a real taste and there were extras like fresh green peppers from the kibuts.
It was nice for us to have a separate bedroom while the kids were hanging out on the pull out huge sofa in the kitchen in the evernings. Days were spent outdoors. Snorkling on the Coral reef was amazing,we have never had a chance to experience it before. There was a bus to get there and we walked back at the sunset. We have some very special memories as a family and felt like Zeev and Rachel made their place a wonderful home away from home.
Our daughter Hope burned herself and Rachel came to dress her wound with a perfect cream she happened to have at her fingertips. We were really touched by her willingness and compassion to help.
We would love to return if God wills and would like you to enjoy this atmosphere as well. We are very grateful for Zeev and Rachel's welcome. G&G; Wood family
