The Royal Burgh of Elie & Earlsferry is located c. 20 minutes drive from St. Andrews and has been a very popular holiday destination since the late 19th. Century. It has beautiful, award winning, sandy beaches and has something to offer family members of every generation from golf, tennis, bowls to watersports.
There are several good eating places, within the village, and for those wishing to picnic there are several shops offering good local produce.

A wonderful home from home, on the beach! We stayed with our 2 young daughters and 2 week old son and we felt like the house was a perfect getaway.
The living space upstairs has a beautiful view out to sea.

We spent a week in ampersand for a family gathering. The house is beautifully located on the beach with outstanding views. The accomodation was spacious for our group of 10 and was well equipped. It had a homely feel which meant we got into the holiday mode very quickly. We enjoyed our walks on the coastal path or over the golf course followed by a relaxing glass of wine in the upstairs lounge enjoying the fantastic view.

We spent the New Year week at ampersand with our family this year and had a brilliant time. The house was just perfect, loads of space for all of us and I especially loved the kitchen with the old fashioned Rayburn stove. It was lovely and cosy and we spent loads of time there eating and chatting.
The location is great, right on the beach, and the view from the sitting room window is lovely even on rainy days.
We had a small problem with one radiator not working in one of the bedrooms when we arrived and Peter and Sue were great and got someone out that same day to fix the problem. I couldn't fault the house or the service we received and we certainly hope to go back again if possible next year. -

Service was outstanding and courteous starting with booking House was spacious,well equipped and very comfortable with 2 beautiful new bathrooms.The beachfront location was ideal for our grandchildren who also enjoyed more freedom in Elie than they have at home.It was wonderful to have 9 of us staying together without feeling crowded It was by far the best holiday house we have ever had.We had a most enjoyable family holiday
