Description from the owner
The Lodge is a six-room cedar and fieldstone facility situated on a country lane overlooking the river. A large observation deck extends 30 feet over the river. Another decked area host a seven foot outdoor hot tub that operates year round. Rocking chairs, wicker groupings, and picnic tables on the screened porches provide additional casual areas in which to lounge. Each room faces the river with a large picture window.
King Suites include a king size bed, private bath, refrigerator, microwave, cable television, air-conditioning, and in-room coffee.

Older but clean accomodations at a very good price. No problems and we enjoyed our stay, Very quiet area. Pet friendly was essential to us.

We stayed here one night and it was great! We woke up, the next morning to a freak snow storm in april that was just beautiful. The lodge is right on the river. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the room was very nice and had everything we needed. Don't expect room service, but do expect a quiet night's sleep. No traffic noise, just the river flowing by. Take some bottled water for the coffee maker because the tap water is a little funky. I'm sure the screened porch would have been enjoyable, had it been a little warmer when we stayed.

This was my second time staying here. This time I had a better understanding of what to expect. The kitchenette room provided a great place for my dad and I to stay while we fished in the local area. The office was not open for regular posted hours, but the owner and housekeeper were very responsive to our needs. I am used to sleeping on a pilow top mattress so I brought egg crate mattress overlays for the beds. It is a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle! We intend to stay here again!
