The minimum stay in this apartment is 3 nights. We are happy to accept stays below the minimum, but guests would then be charged the minimum rental rate (of three nights).

Our house lies in the beautiful wine village Ellenz, only 9 km fro Cochem on the Moselle Wine Road. Going back to the year 1550, the house is a protected architectural heritage considered an important historical testimony. It has seen many uses during its history, among them as residence of the lords of Trier, as a wine cellar, and now as vacation apartment building.

Getting to Ellenz

By road Ellenz lies on the Moselweinstrasse 49. Ellenz is about midway between Koblenz and Trier along the Mosel River

The nearest motorway is the 48 or Euro route E44. To give you an idea of travelling times here are some favourites.

By train there are main line stations at both Cochem 9 Kilometres away and Bullay: 24 Kilometres away. Both have links to national and the European rail network.

The nearest airport is Frankfurt-Hahn, which is 45 Kilometres away. Ryanair fly frequently from Frankfurt Hahn. There are some great deals from the UK and the Republic of Ireland Taxis and rental cars are available from the airport

Cologne-Bonn airport is 120 Kilometres away with good motorway links around 1 hour 40 Minutes by car. There are train links available.

Frankfurt main airport is around 120 kilometres away and again offers all major carriers to all worldwide destinations. It is around 2 hours away by car. We would be happy to help advise on transfer information if you require it.
