      Perfection!

Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012

Loved the cabin; very cozy. I wish they'd had some kind of starter wood/kindling for the fire, but we just picked some up the next day at the store. The beds were cozy and everything looked great! Great area; perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city!

The creek was huge entertainment for the kids.

Left on 11/28/2012 for a stay in November 2012

It was a cute cabin. The creek was very cool with rocks to jump on. The kids really wanted to go for adventures on them. The downstairs, main bedroom is cold. I would recommend bringing a space heater. Over all, clean, comfy and enjoyable.

      enjoying the evening

      quiet and relaxing

Left on 09/04/2012 for a stay in August 2012

The cabin was beautiful and well kept. I loved all of the pine and the new appliances. It made making meals really enjoyable. The cabin had everything we needed down to some spices and laundry detergent. You usually have to bring everything with you when you visit a cabin. The bed upstairs was really comfy, which we switched to after the first night on the bed downstairs which had plastic sheets. I understand the precaution with the plastic sheets but they were noisy and made it feel like an air mattress and hard to sleep. The first whole day we had no air conditioning and luckily the people who take care of the cabin came by to drop off a new grill, and we told them. They had an air conditioning repair man there in a little over an hour and the problem was fixed. Not having any cell service or a phone in the cabin would have been a problem with trying to reach someone. The only other complaint I would say I had was the kitchen chairs. They were literally about to fall apart. We were afraid to sit in them. They were pretty but not functional. We ate all of our meals on the screened in porch and the living room. The screened in porch was great by the way, and you could listen to the little river while sitting out there. It was a very easy relaxing trip and would definitely consider Dragonfly for future trips.

      Beautiful Cabin

Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012

This is a pretty good deal for the price. I planned this for a proposal to my girlfriend. This was a wonderful place!! Pretty easy to find and the views and sound of the creek was amazing. I wish that they had better kitchen utensils and better service. There were a lot of light bulbs out, the kitchen blender didn't work and mo0st of the batteries in the TV remotes were either dead or low making them hard to use. They also had basic channels to watch. I love the memory book they had and the $1 game.

We always keep a box of bulbs in the kitchen, amazing how fast they blow out up here. I replaced some two days before this guest. Batteries I hadn't thought of... will start keeping a pack in the kitchen as well.

There is always a list at each cabin for guests to write down anything they find broken. This is the first we have heard of the blender and it is already replaced.

      Relaxing weekend in the mountains

Left on 06/26/2012 for a stay in June 2012

I found this cabin to surprise my girlfriend for a weekend getaway. She loved it. The cabin is nice and has plenty of space, it was set up high off of the road so that no one could peer in which was a plus because we really wanted our privacy. We were able to watch movies, cook, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the stream outside. There are also many things to do locally like hike trails at the state park and eat some local fare. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to go away for the weekend and have a good time with family or friends.

      Loved this Cabin!

Left on 06/07/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This cabin and the area were absolutely beautiful, fairly secluded, and peaceful. Walking out onto the porch, you are greeted with the rushing stream that sounded like rain 24/7. Very relaxing. The cabin is well-stocked and very clean. Like home away from home. The 2 grandkids loved the jacuzzi, the stairs, playing in the creek, and satellite TV, of course! It was a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back to this area again. A lot of value for what you pay.

      Old guys outing

Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in April 2012

Myself and.a couple of my oldest friends stayed at the dragonfly to tell lies, play golf and fish for trout. Teh cabin was excellent place for all three. We played golf at white path golf course and fished in the streem that ran throught th course. Really liked the screened in porch great to sit in the evening. We where also vey impressed with how well the cabin is maintained, we honestly thought it was only a year old, but based on the guess book it must be loser to 10 years old. If I where to improve anything I would replace the china cart wi an other place to store food, as kitchen cabinets are a bit small.

Over all we where very please and will return eith with the old guys or may make a romantic weekend with my wife.

We enjoyed our stay at Dragon Fly. The cabin was well equipped.
The only thing that could have been better was that the mattress
or its support need to be improved. When we got into bed we sank
into a 'valley' in the middle. Maintenance wise, a new light bulb
is needed in the pantry on the second floor and the cap on one faucet
on the first floor tub is loose.

Our weekend getaway was very relaxing!

Left on 02/07/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We celebrated our 15 year anniversary! This cabin was very cozy and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The cabin had everything you needed, just bring your own food and attitude:) The creek down by the road was beautiful, but we didn't see any fish. The stream was moving too fast. We plan on returning, but will make it a family affair!!
