Description
This luxurious, spacious, custom built cabin sits 50 feet from the rushing white water of the Coosawattee river on the south side, and 20 feet from a babbling brook with water falls on the east side. There is a nature trail beside the brook and provides a beautiful short hike. The river is not deep, and could accommodate some wading, fishing, rafting, or kayaking.
Beautifully designed and decorated, there are heart pine floors through out. The great room has a stone fireplace, comfortable leather furniture, satellite TV, stereo and windows that provide a fantastic view of the river. The fully equipped kitchen features a stone island with cook top and hickory cabinetry. The two master bedrooms each feature a queen size bed, and deck. The master on main has an enclosed (glass French doors)sun room with an extra twin bed, good for small children who need to sleep closer to parents.
The loft has a queen size bed and two singles, with a balcony and a sitting/game area. The two bathrooms have a oversized walk in shower and soaker tub. Both private bedrooms each have their own screened in porch. The game room features a custom bar with refrigerator and sink, pool table, satellite TV and stereo. The 8'-0 wide wrap around covered deck provides a great place to grill a meal and spend time enjoying the view and sound of the river, even if it rains. Last but not least, enjoy the hot tub under the stars on it's own elevated deck and beautiful view.
This place has it all. Come enjoy what nature has to offer. Truly a mountain paradise retreat!

Response from the owner It is unfortunate when people like you twist the truth around. This account is completely untrue. I helped guide you on the mountain for over an hour, and called the patrol myself. He did not advise about 4-wheel drive, as it is not necessary at all. He also told you that you were not stuck and offered to escort you only a few hundred feet to the cabin. You declined and decided you didn't want to stay there anymore, at 1 am in the morning, 9 hours after your check in time. I have 5 star reviews and this account by Cathy is unfair, nor true.
