In 2007, when Bear Ridge Lodge was completed, it was appraised for 2.5 million dollars. Nestled in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains, the home is located only two miles from the spectacular Amicalola Falls, which is the largest water falls east of the Mississippi and cascades 729’. This 7,000 square foot luxury cabin home located on 25 acres of secluded forests is the ultimate setting for your next family vacation, corporate event or romantic get-away. This home was built in 2006 and is the perfect blend of Rustic Mountain living combined with the latest in luxury comfort. This lodge has everything from a fully stocked lake loaded wit...h Bass and Bream (catch & Release Only), tree house, canoeing, hiking trails, WIFI open broadband Internet, a championship pool table and a 73� HD TV with satellite.

There is a 7 person Hot Tub located on the deck just outside the Mater Bedroom for your enjoyment!

Bear Ridge Lodge has 4 spacious bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths, plus 2 Queen size inflatable mattresses. The master bedroom has a spa shower with 6 massaging shower heads and also an infrared sauna with room for four. In all there are 3 King size beds, 1 Queen and a single bed with a trundle. The lodge also has a portable 'pack and play' crib available for use.

The great room has 20+ foot ceilings with open beams, a 53� fireplace and magnificent views of the falls. The gourmet kitchen has plenty of workspace and can seat 20+ people.

To make your stay even more special, there are covered decks that wrap around the front of the home with fantastic views of the falls and an outdoor fire ring to enjoy those wonderful nights. We include the first complimentary fire on your visit. Pets are invited!

We provide a 'Pirate Treasure Hunt' for the kids that is fabulous. The children walk all over the 25 acres solving clues to where the treasure is buried. They love it!

While this amazing home gives you all of the seclusion you could ever want, it is conveniently located just 2 miles from the Lodge at Amicalola Falls, which has a fantastic buffet 7 days a week. For the serious shopper, the North Georgia Premium Outlets are just 20 minutes away!! You are also only minutes away from some of the North Georgia Mountains premier apple houses and fun-filled pumpkin patches. You are just 90 miles north of Atlanta and 70 miles south of Chattanooga.

The Owners, Becky & Randy Harris are on site to help with all your needs. They provide all the firewood and will create a wonderful bon fire in the cozy fire pit for your enjoyment.

  We stayed at Bear Ridge Lodge just after Thanksgiving. It was a fantastic expeience. The accomadations were first class, the area around Bear Ridge Lodge is absolutely beautiful, and the local folklore and history is very interesting. To sum it uo it was Beautiful, Scenic, Restful, & Historic. Loads of fun!

  I stayed here for a few nights and had the most wonderful experience. The house is gorgeous - it's spacious, clean, very comfortable, and quiet. The property is amazing - countless acres with plenty of trails and things to do, though town was only a short drive away. The house has a nice view of a waterfall in the distance and overlooks a pond, where we took out a small boat and fished for hours. At night, if we weren't relaxing in front of the fireplace, we spent most of our time on the outside porch looking at the stars - it made it a nice place to spend the evening. We were in search for a relaxing weekend away and found the perfect spot, just loved the atmosphere. My only regret is that I hadn't planned a longer trip, but have already booked a return in December.
