Atlanta, GAWhat an awesome view!!
Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My family of eight enjoyed the Labor Day Weekend at Heavens Peak and I can say that it was truly the nicest, best decorated, equipped cabin with space to spare. The owners took care in providing all the necessaties needed. I don't think anyone would be disapointed in renting this cabin.

did our initial walk thru & towels were left out by the jacuzzi. There were no towels in the master bedroom. could not get a signal for the TV in the master bedroom. Out on the deck there were things left there. Also when i arrived come to find out the agent didn't provide me with the password to enter the property. I spent 45mins trying to contact someone & the office was closed. I didn't recieve a call back until that Monday, which was too late.

This was our second stay at Heaven's Peak - and it was just as wonderful as we remembered it. We will return next year for our annual Girls' R&R; in the beautiful Georgia Mountains!

Nice cabin, but not a favorite.
Weather was wonderful, we were grateful because if rain, ice or snow were present we would have been in big trouble, 4 wheel drive a must!
Tiny kitchen and cramped dining for 6 adults. 3 "living areas" were very nice, but not one had seating for all of us.Response from KZCabins - 11/22/2010

We were flabbergasted that you rated this cabin 2 stars! The cabin is a platinum retreat, fully stocked with luxurious inventory and a "million dollar view" which i'm sure you noticed with wonderful weather. The driveway is as flat as a pancake. The entire resort is in the mountains and all the roads leading to the cabin are paved so it is untrue that you need 4 wheel drive to get here even in the rain. We will concede that navigating in ice and snow are going to be a problem ANYWHERE in Georgia, not just this cabin. We were curious as to why one would want 6 adults in ANY kitchen at the same time for that matter. We will pass your comment along to the home owner about adding one additional permanent seating to the living rooms. We only know of 2 living areas in the cabin and both of those have leather sofa's and leather recliner's for at least 4 to 5 people plus its very easy to pull in a chair or two from the kitchen if needed. Again, we felt a 2-star rating here is totally inappropriate.

My family and I loved our stay in your beautiful cabin. Everything could not have gone smoother. While we did not win at softball, the cabin was a glorious place to enjoy the "We had fun, played great, but hopefully will do better next time dinner!" Thank you for the best home-away-from-home experience.

Winter Haven, FL & Carlisle, ARSimply Wonderful!
Left on 05/12/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Our stay at the cabin was simply wonderful! It was perfect for our family's Easter weekend getaway. Both a place I would recommend for an escape with just that someone special or with the entire family.
The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and welcoming. The view was equally as beautiful especially at sunrise! What a sight!!! To add to it all the person call from the owner to ensure we were settled and to give us tips about how to make sure our stay was the best it could be, was what did it for me. It was nice to have someone check in during our stay to make sure we utilized the house to it's full capabilites.
We hope to return in the near future!
Thanks again!

GeorgiaBeautiful Cabin and View!
Left on 05/10/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Beautiful views -- getting up for the sunrise is a MUST! Nice spa, nicely decorated. We chose to stay in the downstairs bedroom because of the beautiful bathroom. Lovely way to spend a birthday weekend. The drive up to the cabin at night was tense -- thankfully there was no fog. I highly recommend going in during daylight if not used to mountain roads, besides there are beautiful views along the way as we discovered on the way out. Our Toyota Prius made it just fine though.

My stay at Heaven’s Peak was to have a nice environment (home like) to complete the work I was doing in Jasper. Being away from the residence most of the day, I was a bit weary about security. That was before I realized that Heavens peak is in a gated community. While still secluded, security was a priority. While the beauty of this cabin with all the amenities was spectacular, it was no match for the Heavenly view. It is obvious that the owners want to make you feel at home. While lacking on kids games, the cabin is filled with an adult theme. Beauty and a peaceful serenity is what you get. My woman and I loved this little piece of heaven. We have recommended it to friends and shall vacation there again when I’m not working and the fall colors are vibrant.

We stayed in Heaven's Peak shortly after Christmas. The cabin was impeccably decorated for Christmas and it was gorgeuos.
The hot tub and furniture were awesome - and I loved having a washer and drier so I didn't' have to lug home dirty clothes.
Only major downside of this particular cabin is the size of the kitchen - it is quite small.
Everything else makes up for it.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable - they are wonderful.

WE loved this home and plenty of room for 2 families and 3 kids. The deck and view are worth every penny. It was very clean and large bathrooms. We had neighbors, but far enough away to feel alone. Groceries seemed far away, but no matter because we carried everything with us from Atlanta. The only negative was the kitchen was very small. We cooked all weekend and it was a challenge when two chefs wanted to help each other out. Great neighborhood for walking around with a circular driveway for small kids to play some. We would return in the summer and take advantage of summer activies.
