We really enjoyed the features of this beautiful mountain cabin. Great access to the river, fenced-in area with fire pit and grill, nice furniture. We were disappointed that the fishing poles were not available as promised. While Rose did offer poles from the KZ Cabin office, we did not want to drive all the way back for them.
I'm not thrilled about the changes they've made with the check-in and check-out process either. Perhaps they can come up with something for those customers who have proven themselves to be responsible renters. -

We had a great time ! The cabin was clean, well kept and provide everything you need to cook with. Love being so close to the river, put our canoe in and everyone had a blast! Hope to visit again!

This home is beautiful and well built. My family enjoyed each day we were there. The computer gives an accurate description of the home and outside. Looking for a comfortable and charming location this home will not disappoint you.

The house was nice, clean and updated; granite countertops in the bathroom and kitchen. We were there as 2 adults and 2 tweens. I don't think the place would have been good for more adults but a couple more kids would work. There are a few issues I had (that might have been fixed by now; I left them on comment form in cabin). The only reason I'm mentioning them, because we did love it, is that we might return next year.
Issues:
need more towels; there were only 6-8 and w/a family of 4 (using the hot tub, river and showers) I was doing laundry twice a day. It would be more economical for them to just buy more towels
propane fire pit doesn't work
there are no working lights on the long boardwalk or deck, which means you can't go out there at night because it's pitch black
fireplace screen needs replacing; fire hazard because many people wouldn't close it all the way because you ended up burning yourself doing so
These issues would not deter me from going there again. It was a beautiful, peaceful home in a wonderful area. Thanks!! -

Accommodations were great! Plenty of room and space for all eight of us plus the two babies! Great for tubing down the river and fishing. Hot tub was wonderful! Not far from town and local events. We all had a great time!

Had a good stay at StogeyLodge. There was an issue with the WiFi and the tub/water issue both of which were fixed the same day. The ladies at KZ ( Cheryl and Rose) were very helpful. One problem, which I mentioned in the notebook at the cabin, was the cleaning crew. The cabin was supposed to have been cleaned but it was not. There was dust everywhere. We ended up cleaning on the first day so that it was tolerable. Otherwise, it was a nice place.

We really liked this home. It is a lovely place to go for a quiet visit. Relaxing in the hot tub or the whirlpool bath was great. We enjoyed day trips into Ellijay and Blue Ridge during the week, also. The only thing missing were fish in the river and the walk down to it was a little long for this Grandma.

Great location, River was great, relaxing. Spent time on the deck, catching twigs with the fishing pole. Quiet, relaxing, but yet close to town if we needed something. Lots of room, comfortable furnishings. Turning around in the drive was tricky for a big pickup truck. Fun weekend with family and friends

My husband and i andour 3 pre teens loved this beautiful river house. The kids were in the river all day. We went to water falls at amiacola and Tubbing at the experience. We got some antiques at Dhulanega. We cant wait to go back, the rental agency treastment was superb.thanks

our stay was rated a+ with each person. they furnishings, the granite countertops, and the use of pine flooring,ceilings and walls made everything feel so woodsy. would recommend this place to any and all. our pictures will relive great memories of this stay.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this cabin. The home is beautiful and the surroundings were pure nature. We were so relaxed and having such a good time that we decided to stay another day. The kids loved the Nintendo and board games that were available. The owners made two great tubes available for the river. The only suggestion that I have is that some information regarding the tubing be left, such as where you can get out; how to get back to the cabin; any safety precautions to take, etc. I never did feel comfortable letting the kids go, ages 4, 9, and 12, even with an adult, because I had too many safety concerns. But, I may be a little too overprotective and just needed some reassurance!

Me and my family and dog had such a relaxing time.. The kids loved the hot tube and the river. They enjoyed the Inflatabel rafts we just tied a rope to them so they Wouldnt go down the river.The only thing that was not good for us was not having any cell phone service or long distance.. Other than that everything was great. The dog even had a dogie door that was so cute.. Cant wait to take the rest of our family there.. Thank for sharing this cabin with our family...

Overall enjoyed everything. Nice location and house.
Bathroom door did not close properly and this needs to be fixed.
No soap or shampoo in bathroom. At least a small amount is expected as a basic amenity, I would think.

Had a great time at Stogey Brook! Really enjoyed the location on the river, although we could not get the fish biting!! Loved the fire pit, and the screened in back porch. We spent some great family time, and the cabin had pretty much everything we needed. Water pressure still wasn't good. I had seen that in an earlier review, and the response was that it had been fixed. But both my daughter and I have thick hair, and we never could get the soap out! Other than that, everything was great. The cabin is beautiful, and fit our needs perfectly.

Nice location and very nice cabin. We felt at home. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and fire pit and grill. My husband went fishing and my daughter enjoyed the water too. The bugs at night were very noisey though. Everything was provided for a wonderful vacation and thats what we had. We would love to spend more time there. Maybe the next time. Thank You KZ Cabins for a Wonderful Experience.
