Had an awesome stay. Beautiful place to stay. rode the goldwing up and went on many rides around the area. Blueridge was a really nice place to visit. loved all the deer. Only suggestion would be more trash cans in all bathrooms. the bath downstairs had no trash can, had to walk around to throw away kleenex. hot tub could be more secluded, light from house behind shined in our eyes while in hot tub. But in all we loved it and we have already been back with a large group of people and stayed in a different cabin.

The customer service that I received at KZ was totally poor. Upon completing my reservations I was rudely disrespected and insulted by Cheryl Giles. I complained with management only for them to tell me that she was sorry! The management never offered to compensate me for their unprofessional service.
The cabin was nice, however they had limited cable and phone service at the location. They also charge you cleaning fees and then ask you to clean up upon departure.
Overall experience was not satifaction. I would refer all of my friends and family to cabins in Helen, Ga!Response from KZCabins - 06/02/2012

We appreciate and thank you for your feedback. Upon investigating your claim after we received your feedback, we could not find how you were disrespected and insulted, none the less, we apologize for that. The phone service at the cabin has a long distance block because it is a private residence but can call all local and 800 numbers. Also, the cable service is the plus package with all network channels except PPV and Movie channels which are blocked at this particular property. Although we do not advertise free long distance and movie channels, we will look into making it more clear on the website listings. We do not ask any guests ever to clean up upon departure, we only ask they take the garbage out to the garbage cans.

I really hate to tell you this bc the cabin was absolutely beautiful, but there were bed bugs, which made the stay very difficult. Otherwise the cabin was awesome.

Bed bugs are often confused with Chiggers, which are outdoor mites that make similar bites as bed bugs but are contracted outdoors and are NOT contracted in beds. We have NEVER had a bed bug issue in any of our properties and intend to keep it that way. We had the entire cabin professionally inspected to confirm and they certified that NO bed bugs were found in any mattress, sheet, furnishing carpet or anywhere in the cabin. This cabin is CERTIFIED bed bug-free. You later acknowledged this fact and promised to change this rating. Next time, we would appreciate if you contact our offices anytime you have any sort of issue so we can service you immediately instead of receiving a false 1 star rating that unfairly destroys the overall rating of this wonderful property. WE REPEAT: THERE ARE NO BED BUGS, CERTIFIED BY PROFESSIONAL PEST CONTROL AGENTS. THIS CLAIM IS FALSE. We are very glad you you loved the cabin
