The cottage was wonderful. The beds are uncomfortable. The view was amazing. We wanted to stay forever. We had a chance to see hundreds of Puffins.

Where do I begin? Well myself, husband and 4 kids wanted to getaway somewhere and while searching online I came across this place. This place when we saw it looked so cozy and perfect and the service was so welcoming and helpful. The cabin itself was beautiful and cozy had everything you needed .From the patio we had a beautiful view of the ocean and got to see whales jumping myself and loved that. Elliston is a beautiful and friendly community which is like 5 minutes away from bonavista another beautiful community. All my daughter really wanted to see on our trip was the puffins and when she saw them in both elliston and bonavista she was on cloud nine. Also I have to mention the beach that they have in elliston is out of this world. So if you want somewhere to stay island view cabin is the place to stay.

Our party of five stayed here for two nights late august. We couldn't be happier with our choice. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. As my mother-in-law stated, the owner thought of everything.
If you are looking for a quiet place to lay your head after visiting the lighthouse in Bonavista or while experiencing the puffin colony in Elliston, I would recommend this spot. I can honestly say, we felt refreshed after our little family trip :). -

If you are looking for a quiet,private,clean,cozy retreat for your getaway,then look no further.
This cabin has all the comforts of home and a scenery you will be hard pressed to match.
Watch whales and puffins from your sheltered deck.We have stayed in many cabins and this one is by far the best.

This is an amazing place to stay! We were greeted by the very friendly and knowledgeable owner and by whales just off shore. My husband and I were touring around Newfoundland with my parents, we spent only one night here and had wished we had more time left in our vacation we would have stayed longer. We spent the early evening watching the whales, the cabin even had binoculars! Clean and spacious, with everything you will need for your holiday, including games. An easy drive Bonavista where you can visit some history and have a nice dinner. Elliston is the root cellar capital of the world fun to visit and you can watch the Puffins on Puffin Island! We would stay here again in a minute!
