Description

Our cozy home is located at the edge of the village Vrouchas, in East Crete. Vrouchas is a peacefull traditional settlement, which lies in an altitude of 170m and has a wonderful mind climate. The village Plaka is about 4.5klms away, along with its harbour, where several boats sail daily to the popular island Spinalonga. The famous Cretan destination Elounda lies 9klm away and you have to drive through it, as well as Plaka village to reach our home. The beach lies just 7min drive away.

The Almond Tree House can accommodate up to 4 people.

On entering the house to the left is the ground floor bedroom with a double bed and to the right is the bathroom. Up few steps and we arrive at the first floor. On the right there are two single beds and further along is the sitting area with full kitchen, dining table and a fire place.

The Almond Tree House and its next door The Almond Tree Villa share a communal 300sqm garden with lawn, trees and a very big swimming pool. There you will find your own private summer kitchen with BBQ, oven and a big dinning table.

The furniture and the overall decoration is inspired by the local traditional architecture and has been set up with special care to create a beautiful local atmosphere for our guests to admire and enjoy.

Please note that our swimming pool isn't set up for small children there fore it is essential that adults take extra caution while using it. By booking The Almond Tree House, the guests acknowledge full responsibility for the safety of the youngest members of their family while swimming in the pool.

Also, be advised that The Almond Tree House is located in an ideal area for privacy and relax and thus not particularly close to public transportation. Therefore it is recommended that you rent a car, throughout your stay, in order to easily move around.
