Additional Location Information
Elwood, with a population of 13,785, is an inner city Melbourne suburb 8 km south of the Melbourne CDB. Elwood borders St Kilda on the North and Brighton on the Sought. Elwood is considered by many to be Melbourne’s most picturesque suburb. Elwood Beach is a popular bayside beach destination during summer where the beaches are used recreationally for windsurfing, cycling, touch football, cricket and walking. Elwood was originally swampland, however, installation of the Elwood Canal turned it into a habitable area.
Prior to colonisation, Aboriginal Australians cooked shellfish and signalled other clans from Point Ormond in Elwood. Originally a working middle class suburb in the early part of the 20th century, Elwood has overseen waves of gentrification and is now one of Melbourne's most sought after bayside addresses.
Melbourne hosts some of its most exquisite cafes on Ormond Esplanade and nearby Acland St. In fact this area has become home to some of Melbournes best loved restaurants and bars attracting locals and travellers alike. And only a short stroll away is the beach foreshore. This is as good as apartment living gets and is such a convenient choice for those seeking long term accomodation and holiday apartments. Elwood, Melbourne awaits.

SydneyFabulous apartment and Location
Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in December 2010
This was a wonderful place to stay, the apartment was clean and modern with lovely amenities. It was a short stroll up the street to Elwood shopping centre which had some terrific eateries. Was nice and handy to public transport and even though I had my car, we caught buses and trams into the city and also went to St Kilda for dinner a couple of times. We would have no hesitation staying here next time we are staying in Melbourne.

We enjoyed our stay at Docker Street, the proximity to the beach was fantastic even though it was Winter when we were in Oz. Ormond Esplanade was a real treasure, great for fresh bread, groceries and some trendy bars and restaurants. St Kilda is only a short car journey, it has a fantastic vibe and lots of great shops. Overall, the apartment was inviting, my kids loved the huge TV, my husand the Nespresso machine, all in all we were very happy with our choice of rental.

When we booked we had no idea where the apartments were. My future son-in-law ( we were there for my daughters wedding) recommended the area for us to stay. Ease of booking, location, cleanliness and the overall condition of the apartments exceeded our expectations.
Overall it was weekend we will never forget, thank you. -

MelbournePerfect for my purposes

Service was great - actually stupidly locked my keys in twice and you guys were very quick to get me back in the apartment each time. Apartment was perfect for my needs - only thing missing was a kettle (i realise there was a coffee machine there, but I could have used a kettle on occasion). Selection of cable channels was pretty limited and it was difficult to work out what channels were actually accessible (the folder did list them, but via icons rather than names that coincide with the names on the menu, so made it a little difficult). The only other suggestion I have is that as Elwood is a little isolated from a public transport perspective, it might be useful to give a little more info on the bus services in the area. Great area though.

Sevenoaks, kent EnglandNearly brilliant
Left on 05/03/2011 for a stay in April 2011
On first impression, this two-bed apartment with huge open kitchen/diner/living room looked ideal for our 12-day stay. It was well placed for the charming local high street and for the oceanside, though local travel links into Melbourne proved difficult.
The apartment was well equipped, even down to a Nespresso (no George Clooney though!) and we had a washing machine, tumble dryer etc. The bedrooms were comfortable.
On the downside, there wasn't one full length mirror; not enough coat hangers; the clothes horse/drying rack was too small and flimsy; we had only two balcony chairs in a 4pax apartment; there was only a single huge sofa which meant if we wanted to sit in comfort we were all sitting in a line, so an armchair or two would have been nice; there was insufficient crockery/glassware which lead to excessive washing up/use of dishwasher; the hoover was on its last legs; there were no towel rails; no hanging hooks on the backs of bedroom or bathroom doors. Also, someone dumped a bed mattress outside the front path and it stayed there for our whole visit! We also felt the cleanliness on arrival could have been better.
We enjoyed our stay, though, and would recommend the apartment to others, subject to those one or two additions mentioned.Response from Espresso Apartments - 09/07/2011

Lovely appartment and great area. Could have done with free Internet for the price.
There was an error with the access code and it took 3 calls to the office before we got the correct code.
Otherwise great.Response from Espresso Apartments - 09/07/2011
Manager
We apologise that your access with the code was not more efficient and we have reviewed this process to ensure it does not happen next time.

SydneyGreat place for long term stays
Left on 07/08/2010 for a stay in October 2009
This propoerty is in a great location close to everything and as close to a home away from home you could get. The beds are good quality and comfortable. Furnishings are modern and of good quality. Plenty of storage space.
We had a great time staying here. If I was going to be really picky I'd suggest king size bath towels and tuning the TV!
