Additional Location Information
Elwood, with a population of 13,785, is an inner city Melbourne suburb 8 km south of the Melbourne CDB. Elwood borders St Kilda on the North and Brighton on the Sought. Elwood is considered by many to be Melbourne’s most picturesque suburb. Elwood Beach is a popular bayside beach destination during summer where the beaches are used recreationally for windsurfing, cycling, touch football, cricket and walking. Elwood was originally swampland, however, installation of the Elwood Canal turned it into a habitable area.
Prior to colonisation, Aboriginal Australians cooked shellfish and signalled other clans from Point Ormond in Elwood. Originally a working middle class suburb in the early part of the 20th century, Elwood has overseen waves of gentrification and is now one of Melbourne's most sought after bayside addresses.

Booking was easy online; apartment in a quiet area. Chose this as close to a wedding reception venue. Everything we needed in the apartment and just a short walk to a supermarket and shopping strip. Very secure access.

The Espresso service is what sets this apart. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and the extremely helpful and pleasant people at Espresso. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Anything requiring attention was dealt with so quickly. Can't fault the place in any way and would recommend very highly to anyone wanting a great bayside apartment.

AdelaideGreat location but let down by detail
Left on 01/05/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Great location and great first impression but continually disappointed on details. No air-conditioning in the second bedroom, Foxtel out of order, broken wall clock, wireless network too slow and unreliable, kitchen utensils in poor condition, and the building noisy as sound transmits to easily through 'thin' walls. Each of this items on there own are not an issue, but given the very high price the lasting impression was of poor value.
The beach, the sunsets, proximity to local shops and restaurants and the Boxing Day test are what we will remember.Response from Espresso Apartments - 01/31/2012

The place was nice, good location, great facilities available. The only down side to it was that all the pots plates glasses etc were dirty on arrival.
Apart from that the place was perfect!Response from Espresso Apartments - 01/31/2012

Downside the bathroom sink was useless. The air conditioner was not an inverter model so it blasts on and off and everytime someone else opens their front door our front door would move, very annoying. Other than that great place to stay.

Thank you for your feedback. We do regularly conduct maintenance checks on our apartments and we will check the bathroom sink during these checks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment, with the advantage of being located at a prime spot, and close to the beach. The apartment has been maintained well and it really provided us a homely environment. Not to forget the morning blissful espresso coffee!!
When we plan another trip to Melbourne, we would book again at this apartment.
Thanks and keep it up!!! -

Great booking service. We liked the cleanliness and brightness of the apartment, and touches such as the coffee machine made us feel at home. Great location with easy access to Port Phillip Bay and Elwood village shops.
