Upon arrival at Pebble Beach B302 we were met with a sign on the door that said "no occupancy without certificate of completion". upon entering the unit we were faced with an 85 degree temperature meaning the air conditioning did not work. Next the fridge never did cool properly. Next, the oven not working due to breaker problems it had to be reset 10 times to cook bread... Next, we were subjected to a full blown domestic dispute by the next door neighbors which needless to say we got no sleep that night and resulted in the Police being called. We reported this to Emerald Isle Realty and they were helpful in resolving the issues. The remainder of the week was pleasant. B302 needs a lot of work and I would never rent it again.

Update:
B-302 at Pebble Beach has undergone a facelift during our off season! For the 2013 vacation season guests will see a new paint color throughout, a new flat screen TV in the living room and new drapes, a new fat screen TV, new drapes, and new bedding in the master bedroom, a flat screen TV was added in the Queen bedroom, and the bedroom with twin beds has new bedding. The deck and resurfacing work that was being done at Pebble Beach last year has also been completed. I believe all past, as well as first time guests of this condo will be pleasantly surprised when they arrive for their vacation this year.

The a/C didn't work for 3 weeks which was extremely inconvenient. The rooms were okay but nothing impressive. The master bathroom was painted a sickeningly bright orange color that was hard to bare. The dishwasher was also less than par, barely cleaning the dishes. Other than that, the view was nice.

I do see that the unit was replaced during your stay so I'm unsure why issues would have persisted after this. Sometimes an A/C unit will freeze up if it is turned down too low. Check in was fine and easy. When we went to the condo we found there was no bedding, towels and I'm still not sure the condo was clean. There was still sand on the bathroom floor I found later and some stuff on the carpet. Anyway we cleaned this up and took care of the problem. I went back to the office and advised them about the sheets and about 45 minutes later the service showed up threw the sheets and towels on the floor and turned around to leave. My wife asked them about making the bed and they said it was an extra charge. If that was true I never saw it in the rental agreement. That may have been my fault but it should have been in bigger writing somewhere. The condo was older than I thought not in the best of shape. I love the island and will come back but not stay there.

Thank you for your review of your stay at Pebble Beach B 302. It pleases me to know that you enjoy vacationing in Emerald Isle. I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the initial cleanliness of the condo and that you didn't have linens when you arrived.
Please let us know of such dissatisfaction as our housekeeping department will gladly send someone to clean more efficiently. As for the linens, Island Essentials provides these and while check in is at 4 p.m., they sometimes do need the hours between 4 and 6 p.m. to complete their deliveries. I'm glad they did deliver your linens quickly after a reminder call was placed. As for the bed making service, It is up to each owner as to what services they wish to include with the rental of their property. While most of our properties do provide linens, some do not and most do not include the bed making service. The description for each of our properties states what linen service, if any, is provided. We are able to add linens and bed making service to your reservation if you so desire. We ask that you request add on services at least 30 days prior to your arrival.

Beautiful beach, nice oceanside pool, but this unit was not a 'pristine' as it had been described. Carpet was absolutely filthy; we really should have contacted the office when we arrived, but we didn't think anything could be done while we were there. Owner had bragged that beds would be luxiously made when we arrived, but in fact the sheets and towels were in a giant bag just inside the door (we had to drag it out of the way to get in!) Dirty laundry was outside the door and remained there all week. Dirty laundry was in the master bathroom. There was absolutely no toilet paper in the entire unit.

Thank you for your review of your stay at Pebble Beach B302. I am happy that you enjoyed the beach and the amenities which are offered at Pebble Beach. Yours is not the typical feedback we receive for this condo. It truly is normally of "pristine" quality and had you called to let us know of your disappointment, we would've gotten a cleaning crew in that day to clean more efficiently so your vacation could've started off right.
Pebble Beach B302 does not provide the bed making service and I'm sorry if you were under the impression that your beds would be made. Please note that we can add this service to reservations at properties which don't provide it. The cost to have your beds made is $10 per bed. When making your next reservation, let us know if you'd like this service added. Toilet paper is not provided at any of our rentals. We try to remind guests that they will need to bring soap and paper products to include toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, trash bags, laundry/dish detergents, etc. To ensure that all guest's are aware of this, it is included in our Vacation Info Guide which is part of your Vacation Rental Agreement. You can find this on page 4 under "Furnishings and Bed Linens". I am sorry you were expecting to find toilet paper in the bathrooms and were disappointed when you didn't.
