  The location, weather and condo were all great. The condo was well stocked with all the needed plates, cups, glasses, pots and pans. The condo was also nicely furnished. The layout or floor plan was great. You come in the front door facing the parking lot and walk out the back sliding door facing the beach. There is an out door shower and hose to wash off the sand if needed. The back porch was nice as well. The only two things I would make sure you bring is hair dryers and beach chairs. I would rent this property again.

  This condo was beautifully decorated and had convenient beach access. However, when we checked in an hour and a half after the check in time, the cleaning crew had just gotten there. We left the condo and went to the beach to give them time to finish, as they said they needed 15 more minutes. When we came back, it was obvious they hadn't done anything. The floors were not vacuumed, and there were wads of hair in the shower. Hours later we heard loud banging upstairs, to the point we were alarmed. I went to the condo upstairs and there was a family of 5. The condo upstairs is terribly insulated and has hard wood floors, so we heard every conversation, every footstep like it was a jackhammer. Was not a restful stay.

  Beautiful condo! Great view, large space, tons of room, and beach was not crowded ! It was also great that we had a washer and dryer! Would defintely stay again.

  Emerald isle is a great place. Clean. The ocean is beautiful. The sand is amazing. It's not to hot and not too cold. It's definitely a vacation spot and the market is crazy at 5:00 pm on check in day. Eating in is the way to go. The restaurants right in the area aren't wonderful. But you can get good local seafood and cook in. The apartment was great. Clean, well stocked. The showers could have been a little cleaner but overall it was very nice. The people at the Emerald Isle realty were superb. We got locked out and they showed up immediately and were very friendly. Emerald Isle has almost no night life but that was fine for us--we hung out on the beach with the kids all day. The pool was nice and clean but nothing spectacular (in the middle of the parking lot). The kids loved it. It was overall a great vacation.

  The condo was mostly well-appointed, except for the kitchen; but we were resourceful and made great meals anyway. For the cost, I would think there would be a plastic dish drainer - not everyone uses a dishwasher. First floor deck has ocean view somewhat limited by the dunes. Although it didn't bother us, if you want a true oceanfront condo, this "peg lot" isn't for you. The decor was lovely, and the TV/video options were excellent (and great cable). We felt very safe in this complex and it was quiet. We would come back for a similar type of vaca (girls only break from work and school).

  My sister and I were very pleased with our condo. It was clean, nicely decorated and convenient to the beach. I would rent the exact same unit again. The porch slider was corroded and the screen didn't slide. The verticals in the LR were in rough shape and problematic opening and closing. Both minor items in my view. We had a lovely time dining out at various restaurants from Beauford, Moorehead, Swansboro and Emerald Isle. This was a lovely vacation overall.
