FEATURES:Oceanfront and oceanside condominium complex. Offering 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with oceanfront, oceanside and ocean view units. Swimming pool, tennis courts, recreation area, park grills, outside showers. All units have in-room jacuzzi and wireless high speed Internet access. Two parking spaces per unit. Buildings 1, 3 and 5 are front peg lots, closer to the ocean. Buildings 2 and 4 are back oceanfront “peg” lots. Buildings 6, 7 and 8 are second row. No pets.
LOCATION:2900 block of Emerald Drive. Adjacent to Town of Emerald Isle Public Beach Access and parking area.

A week at the beach after taking our kid to college (for the first time), this condo was just what we wanted. Bright clean, up-to-date 2 bedroom ocean front; professionaly decorated and well maintained. All ameneties are as described in photos, this section or Emerald Isle is family oriented & convienent to shopping on either end of the island.
Truly outstanding personal service from Emerald Isle Reality. Personal and genuine. If our kid sticks it out at college, we'll make it an annual event.

We love Emerald Isle. We have been there 3 times now. This condo is very clean, very comfy beds. Loved how you walk right off the beachside to get to the beach (as many condos you have to walk around parking lot side to get to a board walk to get to the beach) Worst waves we've ever had anytime we've ever been to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Well equipped, up to date, nice furniture. Great view.Pool area very nice.

We loved 5 B-1 !! It was clean , nicely decorated , the beds were very comfortable , and the bath tub was wonderful. We lived in a different unit for a year and were able to see lots of units at Pier Point and this one is now our favorite. The first floor has a nice view of the beach and your dont have to carry the groceries up flights of stairs. It was also nice having the beds made and the towels supplied. Thank you Emerald Isle for a wonderful vacation.

The area was nice. Beach view was okay, but easy to get to the beach for walks on the beach. Sea breeze was wonderful.
Condo had too many steps for the Grandparents. Had requested a unit with few steps due to this reason.
Love sitting in the rocking chairs on the ocean front deck.

I'm sorry that you found the steps to/from this condo to be cumbersome. This is a first floor condo but there are about 14 steps up from the ground. Our vacation planners know our properties and have tools which they can access to gain very specific information on each one when needed. When reserving a home, please let us know your exact expectations, even down to the amount of steps you prefer, and we'll find the perfect property for you.

We've been stayin in PierPoint for the past umpteen years...in this location for two...it is in "gentile decline"...things didn't look totally clean/bathrooms have saltwater rust/refridgerator/baseboards etc...could use a total cleaning...i bought bleach and started to clean things myself...jsut so I felt ok...

It was very nice I just felt like it could be cleaner. There was mold in the shower. The kitchen sink was not cleaned when we arrived. I feel like the floor in the kitchen and master bath should have been a little cleaner. The location was great... loved being on the beach with the kids and all it was a pleasure.

Several spots on the ceiling in the bathrooms are deterioriating with paint peeling in large patches.
The outside shower on the walkway to the beach was turned off and I could not find the valve to turn it back on.
Light bulb in LR needed replacing (I found an energy saver bulb in the closet and replaced it. This should be checked by the maintenance/prep staff).
The dryer was very poor, leaving towels and clothes damp after nearly an hour. It probably only needs to have lint cleaned from the vent to bring it back to proper operation. There are commercial services that do this and it should probably be done every 2 years at least.
The towel bar in the master bath near the shower is falling off the wall. Needs to be re-attached.Response from Emerald Isle Realty, Inc - 01/06/2012

We very much enjoyed the condo. The location was ideal and we enjoyed the stay. All the amenities were great, and the condo maintenance was 98% ( a few minor discrepancies that did not have a negative impact on our stay). Linen service response to an additional guest mid-stay was outstanding.
