All properties have in-room jacuzzis and wireless high speed Internet access. Two parking spaces per unit. Buildings 2 and 4 are oceanfront peg lots, closer to the ocean. Buildings 1, 3 and 5 are back peg oceanfront lots. Building 7 is second row and building 6 is semi-oceanfront with an unobstructed view. No pets.

Our vacation at Emerald Isle was fantastic! It is the perfect place for families. The location was great and the people were friendly. It was a very short walk out to the beach and the condo was the perfect size for our family of four. Being on the first floor was not the most private but it was worth it to not have to carry everything up and down the stairs. My 9 year old daughter loved catching mole crabs during the day and spotted crabs at night. She was very impressed that nobody knocked down our sandcastles that we made every day. Our first one was up all week! We are definitely planning on coming back next year.

My husband and I spent our 1st time in Emerald Isle for our honeymoon. We loved every minute of our week and the condo was amazing! What a life to wake up to a beautiful view every morning...will definitely return for many of our vacations to Emerald Isle. Who knows maybe retire there one day :) highly recommend staying at Pier Pointe again and again. Thank you Emerald Isle Realty, homeowners and staff for making our stay wonderful and we took away so many memories!

We had a beautiful week at EI. Our condo was very nice, clean and comfortable except for the sofa bed. It was great being on the first floor with no steps, but it is not as private. This unit faces the ocean which is great, but it is still a little bit of a walk with steps to get to the beach. The bathrooms need a face lift, but overall the unit is in good condition. Tv's as well could be updated. My grown sons and I enjoyed renting this unit and had a very enjoyable week.

When we arrived the condo had a very musky/damp smell to it. The smell was overwhelming. Not sure why the condo has carpet, it seems to hold all of the moisture coming in off the water. Aside from the smell and dampness, our stay was OK. It was evident that the cleaning staff was not thorough. I realize that it is difficult to clean all of the condos in such a short amount of time because of the turn over factor, but they could have at least used a clean paper towel to clean the bathroom mirrors or picked up the bowl that was on the island and wiped away the previous tenants food crumbs. The location was good, well stocked with a variety of kitchen tools, and there were lots of board games available for rainy/windy days (that we played outside). Overall, I feel like a spent a lot of money on a condo that I didn't want to spend much time in.

Emerald Isle realty was great. They had a drive-up check-in and check-out service. Great location for a family vacation. There were plenty of attractions to visit, but it was not overwhelming like some beach resorts can be. The condo where we stayed was showing its age.

We have stayed at this same condo many times. The last time was 2 years ago. Since then the general cleanliness and maintenance of the condo has dropped significantly. This year we did not use the Tv's much which was a good thing... We called the office on Monday to inform them that the TV in the back bedroom did not work. We heard nothing back and nothing was done. Many of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, very dirty. There was a pile of dirty towels left in front of the door. These were removed after we called twice. Many light bulbs are burnt out and we asked for replacements, again we heard nothing back. We were very disappointed with the general cleanliness of the condo. The sinks were nasty, there were large crumbs of food and trash on the floor throughout the condo. The decks on the ocean side were nasty and in quite a disarray. The condo to the left 2a1 had a bag of rotting something and broken screen sitting in front of the door. We would like to rent this place again in the future but will definitely have different feelings if we find the property in the same state as this summer.

I am sorry no one responded to your requests during your stay. I'm unsure as to why this happened as we do strive to resolve all maintenance and housekeeping issues within twenty four hours of them being reported. We do, however, have to prioritize such requests so more severe things such as an air conditioning outage would be worked on before light bulbs would be delivered. If this is ever the case again, you're welcome to come to our office to pick these items up. We ask for our guests' patience and understanding in such events.

had a nice time except one problem had a new 2011 camaro came out to parking lot to find lawn care had mowed grass and I found grass and a rock sitting on the hood of my car notified emerald isle realty to which they said they would let someone know about it,never heard any more about it!
