All properties have in-room jacuzzis and wireless high speed Internet access. Two parking spaces per unit. Buildings 2 and 4 are oceanfront peg lots, closer to the ocean. Buildings 1, 3 and 5 are back peg oceanfront lots. Building 7 is second row and building 6 is semi-oceanfront with an unobstructed view. No pets.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing week and tremendously enjoyed the view and the sound of sea. We most appreciated the easy access to the beach and unrestricted view. We liked the 3rd/top level for the open deck that allowed us to enjoy the sun; though it wasn't out much the week we were there. Still, we found the restful getaway we were seeking.
One caution to have in mind is that there are 3 levels of stairs to climb to access the condo. Taking up luggage and belongings is not for the faint of heart! ;) The unit was pleasant and comfortable. The living and dining area is more spacious than many condos on the island. The kitchen was stocked with most of what we needed to prepare some basic meals.
I gave an average rating on cleanliness, but feel it's important to note that the only area that wasn't quite up to par was the master bath. The shower had some residue in the bottom that rinsed out easily; however, the shower door and the jacuzzi tub jets have mildew that needs to be addressed. Everything else was clean and in good condition.
Checking in and out was quick and easy! The team at Emerald Isle Realty greeted us with a smile and had everything together. We were in and out in a few minutes when picking up and dropping off the keys. Thank you! We had a lovely time.Response from Emerald Isle Realty, Inc - 04/22/2013

Great service, great accommodations, great view! Staff was very friendly and made check in/rental easy. Third floor is a lot of steps but the view is worth it!

The rental is lovely--bright, clean and comfortable. Love the view and being able to hear the waves. Appreciate it was well-stocked iwth everything we needed, including a jigsaw puzzle for the rainy days.

We love Pier Pointe. 2a3 West was very nice. We love the layout of these condos. There is alot of open area. The lanai is nice and so close to the beach. The Lanai chairs were very comfortable.
We were disappointed that there were no beach chairs. We bought a couple chairs at CVS for 20.00.
You have to love stairs cuz you must climb more than 50 to get from the parking lot.

Can not say enough about the staff at Emerald Isle Realty. From registration, maintenance to house cleaning, great job!!! Ask for assistance in carrying items to this third floor unit and received it without delay. Enjoyed the spectacular ocean and sound views from this unit and would stay in a 3rd floor unit again even though the climb is somewhat difficult (especially if carrying item up to the unit!) Have stayed in several units in Pier Pointe West and found this one's furnishing to be average. The unit is beginning to show its age and needs a little TLC. The cooktop is very difficult to clean and we used the dishwasher only once since it left a residue on the dishes.

Check-In was a breeze, the place was beautiful! Very nicely decorated, the Jacuzzi tub was a hit with my 2 year old and I loved the heat lamps in the bathroom! The view was amazing! The beaches are so nice and clean and there is not a drastic change in high tide and low tide at this area. My daughter loved the aquarium, and Morehead City was so close! Found the stove to be a little hard to get used to at first, very high tech...an instruction manual for the appliances would be nice :) I would come back to this condo every weekend if I could.

Great trip. Great condo. A long climb to the 3rd floor but worth it for the view.
Nice pool and tennis court.
Only problems were some black mold in master shower door and ants in the pantry. Hopefully these are easily fixed for the next renter.

The condo is showing its age. The sofa is very uncomfortable to sit in and it's impossible to sleep on the sofa bed. The cooking equipment is very poor. There isn't enough silverware. It is time to evaluate the quantity and quality of the kitchen supplies. As always the unit itself is beautiful and you cannot beat the view or location.

Pier Point 2 a-3 W had everything we needed. This was our second time staying at this place. The place was clean. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The location was great. It is convenient to shops, restaurant,and sight-seeing. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

This unit offers amenities in abundance, is beachfront and was clean and well-maintained. The only drawback might be the long climb to the third floor. Spectacular view of the beach and the atlantic Ocean.

Everything was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Emerald Isle realty staff was efficient and friendly as always. We've been renting from them for years. This condo was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the deck where we could sit and see the sunrise and then the sunset from this panoramic view of the ocean.

We stayed at this same unit for last 9 years. This year there were some nice improvements, such as new kitchen appliances and bedroom linens. For the first time, we found our beds made when we arrived; we loved this new service! The location is very convenient and the beach is beautiful. We'll be back next year.

We have stayed at Sea Song many times and enjoy the fact that the condo. is very light and bright. Over the years, we have noticed that there are less kitchen utensils, etc.
We had an issue with the housekeeping at one time, but it had greatly improved when we were there last year.
Generally, this is a quiet area. Although last year we had a very loud bunch over Memorial Day week-end in the next building and had trouble sleeping.
We really enjoy the proximity to the beach, the view, and the brightness of the condo.
We'll be going again at the end of August and bringing a friend from Paris. We are anxious to share this very special place with her.

The stairs could really be an issue and there is no elevator. Luckily we are in pretty good shape. We had weather issues. Stayed for a week and had three lovely days and three cold days where it rained all day. We did find things to do like an art gallery and shell shop.
The TV equipment was impossible to use unless you are very savvy about those kinds of things - we had to get someone to explain how to use it especially with a DVD.
Overall the apartment was very nice and had a great view. We had a good time. -

We just spent a wonderful week at the Pier Point West Condo and had a wonderful time. This is the Third time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect. Condo is on the beach and, just a short walk down the stairs, and it made it easy to bring the kids and all our gear. The manager had the keys ready, just drove real estate office then to the Condo. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home.
