  The condo there we stayed is in a very good condition. New appliances, new aC, overall clean and nice.
  
  There are some buts. The cleaning stuff needs to vacuum carpet more carefully as I found finger nails from previous guests and stepped barefoot on a tiny piece of broken glass when we just had arrived.

  Pleased but not blown away

  This condo is delightful, spacious, very tastefully decorated, is at a great location, and overall we really had a great time. We loved the big deck and excellent view of the ocean.
  
  Truthfully our only real complaint is that, as a family that likes to cook, the kitchen did not have sufficient pots, pans, etc. and the cutlery and kitchen tools were pretty gross. We think it's because the un-filtered water had ruined them. If you like to eat out rather than cooking in, this would be an excellent rental.
  
  We really enjoyed the tennis courts.
  
  Emerald Isle Realty was excellent -- very prompt and professional. We would definitely rent from them again.

  It is true that the water in Emerald Isle creates a white film on the dishes but this can be remedied by using a rinse agent such as vinegar or even Tang drink mix, along with your normal dish washing detergent.

  Great location and wonderful oceanfront deck!

  The house is very nice, very clean, and it's a great location. The only problem was the beds. They were rather uncomfortable and they had a plastic liner that made it difficult for the sheets to stay on, and it made it hot. It could use some better shades or curtains as well. Other than that, we really liked it and would rent there again-- but hopefully they will update the bedding and curtains.
