we've stayed in the same home for 6 years, and it gets better and better!! great location, close to beach, pool is right out our door. doesn't get any better than this!!

The unit was nicely furnished and appreciated some of the updates by the owners. Outstanding value for the family with 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms. Has a slight ocean view, and the pools and the other amenities of this complex have us returning next year to this unit. It is currently on the market, so perhaps the carpet will be replaced for 2013. Unfortunately, renters are especially hard on carpets.

One of the best things about d102 was the 1st floor location and my personal favorite, all the beds were made up and towels laid out like a cruise!
The condo is a great layout and gets wonderful light and has a spacious covered porch that actually can acts as another room.
The condo is comfortable but is worn, could use new or recovered couches, mattress upgrades as well as new bedspreads. Bathrooms also showing that age that makes it difficult to look clean even when they are. Lots of great pots and pans but could use upgrades in dishes and glasses.
My husband suggested that an updated tv would be appreciated and we really would have loved Internet access.
After saying all this we did request this same condo next year. It has the potential to be the perfect vacation home but needs some tender loving care.

Overall, wonderful experience with check-in and check-out. Beautiful location. Condo was tidy. Utensils and appliances needed to be cleaned before usage due to dust or being dirty. Dishwasher did not clean well. List of what is available as far as appliances, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, etc. at the condo would have been helpful prior to arrival. Two lines on balcony would be helpful for this size condo due to not having enough space to dry towels, bathing suits.
Although, I made a few suggestions, my family and I absolutely loved our time at the condo and would definitely come again or refer your realty to our friends and family. Loved balcony and safety in regard to how to get in and out of condo. Felt safe and secure at this location. -

Over the last 9 years, we have stayed in 5 different condos at Pt. Emerald Villas, and this is the 2nd worst. I realize that this is a rental, and things are not perfect, but the kitchen needs extensive upgrades. We used plastic flatware because the flatware there was so bad I wouldn't let anyone put it their mouths. Also a better selection of pots and pans would be good in order to stay in a few nights and cook. There is a vertical blind missing in the master bedroom which could easily be fixed. No closet has more than 2 hangers and each closet is also so full of things that clothes could barely hang anyway. The "junk" needs to be cleared. An ironing board would really be good to have. The front door knob and lock is very difficult to open. The reason I did not give cleanliness more stars is that the door to the heating/air conditioning unit is black with filth.

This condo does maintain a Silver rating and has all required items to do so. If you are looking for something more up to date, I would recommend renting a Gold, or higher, rated property.
Anytime which you are dissatisfied with the initial cleaning of a property or if you need additional items such as coat hangers or an ironing board, please call our housekeeping department. We are happy to send someone out to clean more efficiently and provide items to make your stay more comfortable, if we have them on hand.

I love the location of Point Emerald Villas. Our family has made these condos an annual tradition for more than ten years. The best part of these condos is the easy access to the fantastic beach. The concern that I had this year was that this unit had a very strong smoke odor that was noticeable as soon as we entered the condo. I also felt that the overall cleanliness of the unit was not up to my standards. I think all of the carpets and upholstery need cleaned. I think the unit lacked some amenities that would add to my enjoyment of the unit. For example, I wanted an extra blanket for one of the beds and the only one I found was old, thin and tattered. Also, I could not find even a single clothes hanger in the unit. What use is the large master closet without a hanger?

Should you ever arrive to find that the cleanliness of the property isn't up to your standards, please let us know. Our housekeeping department will gladly send someone out to clean more efficiently. Also, sometimes we do have items such as blankets, coat hangers, etc. on hand so we can provide them when they are needed by a guest.
