The rental was clean and the kitchen fairly well stocked. While the unit is on the third floor, it is next to the elevator and also the laundry room but noise was not a problem. The unit was nice and quiet. Negatives: The master bedroom was missing several vertical "slats" in the blinds over the sliding glass doors, and this was compensated for with a blanket. The drawer pull from the silverware drawer in the kitchen was missing. The towel racks in all the bathrooms appeared to have been put back multiple times and the one in the master bath just would not stay up. We received no information on connecting to the wireless internet and had to choose an unsecure connection.

Nice unit - Doesn't offer Washer and Dryer
The sliding glass door from the living room to the deck needs to be repaired. Also missing vertical blinds in the master bedroom and living room sliding glass door. The unit was very clean, close to the elevator. The kitchen equipped pretty well, the kitchen table was a little awkward - oversized glass on top and the chairs didn't move easily on the carpeted floor. Overall decor very nice. chester njD-306 wasn't up to Pt. Emerald Villa's usual standards.

This home needs TLC. The carpet is badly stained, blinds in master bedroom are broken, towel rack in master bath broken & unusable, slider door in living room barely usable, etc..This unit did not meet our expectations Since we have been staying at Pt. Emerald Villas for the past 25 yrs, we have grown to expect a maintained home. Most people would not want to deal with these issues that we encountered with this unit at their own home, let alone on their vacation. Had we known the unit was in need of repair & upgrading, we would have opted to rent another unit. We will not re-rent this unit & will hesitate to rent at Pt. Emerald Villas in the future unless we have a way to determine the condition of the unit. We have always enjoyed our vacations at Emerald Isle & it is our hope that the realtors do not become so busy that they cannot manage & see that their rental properties are properly maintained.
